I'm so fed up with girls lately. I have the girl that wants to take things slowly. (and I mean extremely slow). And lately all of my friends that are girls have been pms'ing at the same time if you know what I mean. I'll stick to the slow-motion girl and buying myself a nice toy.

    order backup?

Fi has been really busy lately. I'm sure it will be resolved shortly. I know they were expanding or a new building or something recently.

I know this is probably completely unrelated, but that was the gamertag of the clan leader of KSI in Halo 2. He had many alias' but Se7en was probably one of his most famous ones.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Finally not cheating I see God this night is dragging. Only 5 hours and 18 minutes left at work. Damn that shift isn't any Fun At least you get to sit on a computer and keep yourself half entertained. Yea, but I really need some good articles or something new to read. I don't mind answering the same question a dozen times, but it gets old. The other morning I had this brilliant dream and I woke up and started designing a kerfed and modified version of the wicked one (but using 4 subs and a much more complex box) Read up and make a Unity Horn. http://www.cowanaudio.com/ I just thought they would be something very few had. Definitely putting them on my to build before I die list. I was psyched when I saw those. I've seen variations where they do a 3 way. The Compression Driver, 4 Midranges, and two woofers. I don't know squat about any type of horn though. Wanted to do some reading but I have this little thing called ADD so that prevents me from doing just about anything. Lol Need more stuff. Read that whole website. Good news is I learned a few things ( I think)

    Understanding/dealing with cabin gain

I will expand a little bit. Every vehicle has a resonant frequency. SQ guys eq this down or build boxes that are lacking in output at said frequency (a lot of times the frequency is above the crossover for their subs anyways). Depending on the vehicle this "gain" can be substantial. Walling and the box itself (not to mention different #'s of occupants will change the cabin gain frequency. Spl guys use the cabin gain to get a better score. They find the resonant frequency, and tune slightly below it so that their box peaks with the cabin's peak for a better score. You are referring to a bandpass type effect. Basically whenever you put a box in a vehicle you are building a bandpass system. When the doors (or windows) are open, you are porting your "bandpass system". You are making the outer box (the cabin) ported and raising the efficiency of the system. Hence why it sounds louder. (noting that it might not be louder to a mic).

best bet is to probably email them. I know they are busy and all, but it's currently still the best way to get ahold of them.

Pressure, and volume are two different things. A regular cab truck might sound quieter sealed up, but so do most other vehicles.

I forgot all about that thing. I remember when it came out, sometimes we would have a handful of members on.

Is 18 guage wire enough for highs and mids?

If 14 ga. is overkill, than what's using 12ga for tweets and 10ga for mids? Trying to be Steve Meade? Just curious, I have been doing it forever b/c small ga. speaker wire is cheap and I like overkill.
