    Welcome to the IHoP

I have an anschutz, a japanese light weight rifle set up for sport shooting. An older 12guage, pump action I believe winchester made it. An m1903a3 Springfield made by remington with plastic body that weighs precisely 9.4 lbs and is about 2" off of a perfect balance (used for drill team which is spinning and throwing rifles in timed precision.) I'll get some more details about my .22's next time I see them while i'm at grandma's. I can get some pics of my buddies gun collection too.

    Installed SAZ 1500D...Now Engine Noise???

Check your battery connections as well. Remember that you may not have had the noise with the other amp because it was drawing less current. I am inclined to believe it is an RCA or head unit grounding issue.

What has the greatest effect on.....

Fs, X-max (linear), power, enclosure, and cone area for the lower than "low" frequencies.

    2 Q 18's in a t-line

You build a box like normal extending out to the bed I would try to keep bottom at least 4" higher than the bed. But leave the bottom off. Basically you have a top, side and back of a box but with no bottom.

and I was gonna suggest an infinite baffle blowthrough.

    Its been awhile...

Oh, and you only need a headunit capable of crossovers and eq's for fronts and rears. Use your front channels for tweets and rear channels for mids.

    Its been awhile...

What's your budget. You could grab an alpine w505, and the alpine h701 You could do what i'm doing and grab the Pioneer 5000, h701 and the r701 *controller for the h701) You can grab an eclipse 7200mkII, or the new pioneer 800/880 (you could grab the pioneer 6000, i needed the 5000 for single din.)

    Welcome to the IHoP

I had a model 95 for a while I picked up in an estate sale. Good lord that thing was a beast . I shot a couple ground hogs at about 3/4 of a mile with it once. There was nothing left Watched my uncle split bowling pins at 1000 yds with it open sights I ended up selling it because I had no where to shoot it, and $35 a shell was a little too pricy for plinking Yea, the ammo is quite expensive at that point. My baby's are all .22 rifles for the 50 foot*.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I can't exactly conceal my firearms, they are all of the rifle/shotgun type. My best friend and I would eventually like to pick up a barrett model 99 .50 caliber rifle. I already shoot the mile. http://www.barrettrifles.com/rifle_99.aspx

    2 X 18" btl's vs. 2 X 12" W7's

The w7 is a very good speaker. It's just overpriced and over-hyped. The BTL is a great speaker in its own respect as well. What i'm getting at is that in an ideal situation the BTL will get louder with enough power. The w7 will get plenty loud and if we were talking about these two speakers (of the same size of course) and with all available skills in perfectly efficient enclosure showing the maximum potential of the respective drivers we are probably only looking at a minute difference in spl. (once again if they were the same size so 2 12 inch btl's vs. 2 12" jl audio w7's) seeing the maximum amount of power before massive thermal compression we are probably looking at a 1 dB difference. And this is where the x-max would come into play Now since we are talking about 2 18" btls versus 2 12" w7's the 18" btls will be louder.

So... I've got a pair of MAW12's coming

If you really want to get technical, the box, not the car, would be powered by the MTX *shudders from memories of linguistics class* I was thinking of a PR instead of a port actually... but I'd have to do some real good measuring to see if I can squeeze 2.5cf in the trunk... I'd really like to do 3cf net instead of 2.5cf though. Just remember that you want 2x the cone area in PR's that you have in subs.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I'm feeling a spring project coming to mind. Maybe an ixl18.4 in a large ported enclosure to replace my tiny 10" ported sub in my room.
