    FI BTL CRACKED SPIDER???

With the btl iirc they will tend to crack slightly due to the stiffness. If its only the top spider, don't worry about it. The spiders on those drivers are very stiff. Hairline cracks happen to spiders all of the time without affecting a drivers performance.

    ok you all suck !>?!?!?!?!?!!?

It's actually rather simple, I don't take anyones scores without taking a grain of salt too. I only care about sealed and at the dash on the Tl, that is why I try to post how my set-up was being metered when I post a #.
  7. what year is your tacoma, if your alt is pcm controlled it could be normal. Also you could look into the missing link audio module, i have heard nothing but great things.

What are you looking for. I love my patriot and you could almost buy it with cash (or you could get the limited 4x4 one, have leather and all of those goodies) I average 28 mpg with about 70% city driving. It does 34 + highway easy. Tons of legroom.

Do sealed boxes have a tuning frequency?

I believe there is an option under your controls or under the options when you create a new topic to receive email updates. And I'm sorry I missed the part about it being a btl. I thought you were making a sarcastic comment. Ported boxes are almost always louder than their sealed counterparts in any vehicle. Hatch or trunk doesn't really change much. Every vehicle responds to bass differently. For example a Honda CRX will get loud off of almost anything whereas a vw golf would need a wall be just as loud (in most cases).

Ok so who are they? If there are people who have won SQ comps please LMK who your are and what comps you have won. Id be much more apt to listen to someone with a background and has experiance. I don't have sq comps within 400 miles of where I live. My mentor in car audio is a sq nut who has many years competing in IASCA. Ask dave-brooks, dave-edwards, scott bulwalda etc... they are all on this forum and have a plethora of sq experience. Jimj as well, (although I think his forte is home audio but I could be wrong).

    Suggested Battery

Yes, the D3100 would be overkill, but overkill is always good in car audio. You will have plenty of power for upgrades down the road. Our minimum recommendation for a 2500W system would be a D925 in the back near the amp hmmm well do you guys have any authorized dealers in az? or inernet dealers jegs.com

Scott or Nick! only 3 woofers shipped!

Did you look at the shipping invoice. It could be that they sent 3 one day and another the next, to minimize your wait.

    Welcome to the IHoP

If anything, I think the number of people making 10-15 posts a day has gone up significantly, sure, they don't have a ton of posts yet, but they're adding up fast. Of course, there are posters with the intellect of "RL-i 8 Jones", but hey, you can't have it all Some of us are trying really hard to break into the top 20 without spamming. I'm getting there. It's a tedious process of 20+ educated posts a day though.

Torn on which route to take.

Available options and what they do: The BL line is pretty much a lower power alternative to a BTL or a higher power alternative to the Q series of woofers. This is more of a street jamming type woofer that

Horns are absolutely amazing sounding when installed and tuned properly. I only suggested them b/c of their efficiency and your goal to try and keep up with two 18" tc sounds lms drivers. The harshness was because they were aimed too high.
