yes... hit me up with some names i should look for. i really like Baroque ever since i took music 101 and ive always thought the pipe organ is cool. I can just imagine all that in DVD-audio http://www.telarc.com/DVD/title.asp?sku=DV...AM3WRFX6PCQ12QD http://www.telarc.com/Classical/title.asp?...AM3WRFX6PCQ12QD are two that iirc have some very low frequencies.... Also jurassic park is supposed to have some material in the 2hz range.

I got the job at fed-ex, now the car payment and insurance is covered. Now I'm working on finding job #2 to pay for my gas and SS1-2 build.

How about it's like deciding to have a kid. There isn't any going back to the way things were before. If you love your cars, you are better off buying a cheap suv or hatch and doing it in one of those. -

but im choked for space in my trunk.... and even to step up to the btl i need more space, How many people normally ride with you in your caddy? Walling limits that, but if it's a spare car, I say go for it. It's a lot of work. -
i'm on the list now. Don't feel so bad.

i'm not even in the days top 20 posts, somethings wrong.

don't do it, it's a waste of money... lol -
Every car reacts dfferently. The extreme vehicles you are talking about need a seal to reach such high pressure levels. Some cars get louder, some don't change etc. It also depends on which window(s) are rolled down and how much they are down. The best way to explain it is that the meter measures pressure, but sometimes the "flow" is higher and it measures that. You can easily blow a 150+dB reading in a termlab mic and be near silent, or you could have a loud car that is straining to move that same membrane in the meter just as far as if I was blowing directly on the membrane. Opening up a window can cause the air to move more. I'm sure someone can explain it better though.

I'm having fun finding a decent omni for sale at a decent price (I mean jeeze, the car is already 2 decades old)

My prototype motor is nearing completion @ the factory - so I'll be starting testing on it in the next few weeks! Definitely keep us informed. This sub will come in 18" trim right? lol.

My bro-in-law does. Stainless welder by trade, but whacked together my outdrive when a tree fell on it. think he could notch a cast-AL oil pan? Probably, but he would need some instruction. If it were stainless he could do it in his sleep. the second post here explains what needs to be done: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=472609 I have many months to figure this out so no rush at all. If he thinks he can do it though, I'll get a pan out to you/him. Out of curiosity what does Street & Performance charge to do it? Brian charges $40/hr for side work but I can surely run it by him and see if I can minimize any expense. I can't find an actual price on their site (what a mess) but I've heard it's in the $500 range, but that includes the pan. If I could find the dimensions of the LH8 pan and make sure that it's not too deep, then I could just go that route and not have to worry about notching one. The $500 was for a new pan, I'd call to ask them what notching the stock is. It would give you a baseline to laugh at if it is absurd anyways sorry i missed this, but i aluminum weld all day pretty much, lol. not much metal i can't weld. what are we trying to accomplish? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee He is trying to notch an aluminum oil pan.

thank you sir I have had issues with my TC sounds OEMs pulling out too, they are 48lb subs or something like that. I tend to always do a double baffle on subs for the structural integrity. -
I am a man that plans ahead. I'm planning on building a SS1-2 car next year and my plans include 4 saz-3000d's and 2 subs. I have many choices but what subs are really going to be burp happy seeing 6000+ watts rms? Some subs i'm considering are: IA DP 21 (if wayne harris doesn't shoot my idea down as it's technically within the rules) Fi Btl 18"s Nightshade 18"s Hope for a Mach 5 SPL 18 PAP wmd^2 I'm looking for efficiency as well as the ability to take a 3-6 second burp. For bass race I would run a saz-3000d to each coil at 2 ohms vs. the strapped to each sub at 1 ohm. Any other suggestions, I know I'm getting ahead of myself but I'm looking for options.

One of my friends has it and when I asked him about it he replied with:

Good to know Jacob. I guess I'll go all Sundown, you have always supported me.

aww, John you moved my topic. I guess even I can make a mistake in where I post things. I figured my fellow team sundown members would have been the most help though.

Do you think the death penalty will enjoy 6k watt burps?

Marks? lol. I'm a guy don't blame me for being curious
