    2 21" Wardens

Unfortunately I'm in the process of selling the Wardens, so this build has come to an end. I wont be building a new box or working on this one. It has nothing to do with this last box not being what I was looking for, I just decided to go another direction. I've looked at different amps the 1000.1 just puts out the most power for the price. I've run it at .5 daily without it going into protect once, though rise is around it's 2 ohm rating. It's a fairly efficient amp that does good power. I've been eying up some other brands but this amp would be hard to sell for what it's worth. I see 500.1s going for 7-800 often, but I doubt many people would pay 1600 for this one. As far as my experience with the Wardens- I loved these subs and I would never hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

anybody have beats and a sunroof?

My tahoe had a sunroof. First burp with my old 4 18 setup put it off track and I never fixed it. I'll never buy a vehicle with a sunroof I plan on putting more than 1-2 small subs in.

    230 amp alternator sale

I had a customer who unfortunately had to wait too long because of back ordered parts. The wait time was out of my hands as I was told a few days by my distributor and it was unfair to the customer who was kept waiting much longer, so I had his alts coated satin black for free. It's the least I could do, I try to take care of everyone like I would want On to pics: Just shy of 1000 peak amps, with somewhere between 600-700 idling amps depending on the vehicles idle speed.

    BL vs BTL-N1

It's really going to boil down to your enclosure and build overall. Look at it like you would compare the BL to a Gen2- it's going to be the same answer and there are dozens of "BTL vs BL" threads. Personally I would buy the N2 with the intentions of getting a 2-2500w amp down the road for it.

  7. My first thought was make sure it's secured properly. If your box is single baffle or not braced screws can break or the sub can come loose. Also if there's even a slight gap where the sub isn't seated properly air can escape at louder volumes and make awful noises. I'd check that first. If not that definitely look at your amp settings.

    Bracket Requests

It's not that I'm ignoring you or putting your bracket off- please don't feel that way! The fab shop I've been working with does excellent work- but when they tell me 2 days it turns into 3 weeks! Due to the delays I've decided to build a larger shop and set up the equipment to do all my work in house. I'm still filling orders it's just taking longer and putting development on hold. Some of the brackets require over $150,000 worth of machinery to make a single $250 product so I've been dragging my feet on upgrading my shop, but that's going to change. I will still be taking orders and business will continue as usual! I'm really sorry for the delay, but once I get the shop set up properly wait time will be nonexistent on current brackets and alts, and new products will be released MUCH faster. I have a ton of new products on the way, I'm just holding off on release until I can make them in my shop. Honestly even in about 2 weeks wait times will shrink drastically, but keep in mind I'm building to order. I really wanted to start this topic so people could tell me what they need- and as I'm able to find a similar vehicle to build the bracket off of I will. I actively seek new vehicles to design brackets with, but there are so many makes models and engines it's impossible to make them all as fast as I would like. Thanks again guys, Troy

I'll just email with the few questions I have, but what a great price point. Having multiple levels of neo subs seems like a great idea to me- from a marketing standpoint if nothing else.

    230 amp alternator sale

I let this sale run on till the end of October, so November 1st it's back to normal. I'll be posting some in-vehicle numbers this upcoming week for anyone interested, I'll just let the clamp meter do the talking.
  12. Wardens are great subs, but even with a wall you'd need a lot of power to do those numbers, and a really good install. It's not about the subs, it's about the install and the setup. I'm switching subs and was racking my brain about which direction I was going to take things. I finally just picked the company that's always been great to deal and had great people running things.

    Bracket Requests

Not on hand, but I could make one pretty soon. Please send me an email to sales-at-tejcurrent.com with a picture of your engine bay and I can give you a 100% thumbs up on whether one of the ones I've been working on will fit. Thanks, I was only out of town a day or so but it makes a difference and I'm sorry to those of you who've had a delay in your order. I'm in the process of setting up a larger shop, building from the ground up, and it is expensive and time consuming. The new facility will allow me make new products faster, and wait times will be reduced to a few days at most. I've been placing bulk orders for all my parts like serpentine belts and pulleys, and they should be in by Tuesday. To those who have been waiting thank you for your patience, some things have gone on beyond my control and I'm sorry you're having to face delays for it.

    BTL-N2 pics

From what I remember from the other thread, the N3 is SPL and N-SG is Extreme SPL. But like you, I want official response from Nick or Scott to make sure my info is correct. Right, I read that the N3 was more for SPL, but the last sub I owned was 'pure spl' and I really liked it for daily. If there's no mechanical reason like the tight gap on the SPL version of the Gen2 BTL then even if it doesn't sound super good it should have more motor strength. I guess I'm fishing for answer a bit before the new product is released and that isn't the policy, but I can try

That's extremely interesting. A-symmetrical subs- technology these days You've outdone yourself on these cosmetically, though I guess form follows function here.

Wow. That is different for sure! If someone could take a minute to clear up for those (including myself) waiting for the N3 to make a decision, is the N3 usable for music or really just SPL? I'm going with you guys either way, I just don't want to purchase the N2 and kick myself for not waiting a bit, or wait and find out I could have been sporting the new gear all along. Regardless I'm liking it

Since everyone seems to want Neo...

I posted on the other forum, but I'll email you tomorrow or call- your choice. I'm really interested if the price is going to stay similar with these since most neo subs cost a lot more - if they're similar to the G2 or G1 then hopefully price will be similar.

Since everyone seems to want Neo...

No thanks lol. I would like to get in line to get some of these when they come out though, depending on what subs are best for my application.

Something like that I'd love to be the guinea pig if nothing else.

Since everyone seems to want Neo...

Right, I got that, but you know damn customers never listen to recommendations I was also told the IA Warden was an SPL driver- which by all means it is- but I got a nice response within .6db from 30-45Hz. I don't mind if it's a bit peaky- but if the N3 will put up better numbers and still sound ok I'd rather go that route.

Since everyone seems to want Neo...

I'm really interested in trying some too The problem I'm seeing (and I'm sure will be cleared up in time) is the blurred lines making it difficult to make a choice. It's always easy to make recommendations on others purchases, but harder to pull the trigger when it's your own bank account taking the hit. It seems the N3 is still a little ways off from production, and I understand it is geared more towards SPL, but will it still be acceptable as a daily sub or more like the SPL version of the Gen 2? I remember when people told me the BTL wasn't a very good daily sub around the time it was released, but it's one of the most popular subs for daily use in the 2000 watt up range now- at least among those who know about it. Will the N3 be more along the recommendations of the original BTL, or is it a true SPL sub that's best left to competitors with one note wonders? Just wondering if I should place my order for some N2s or wait for the N3

Since everyone seems to want Neo...

Very nice. You stopped with power handling etc with the N3, is that a good thing or just because it's getting more away from daily use at that point?

Since everyone seems to want Neo...

It's a good sign that they're not a stagnant company. I really like that Fi upgrades their subs periodically, it means that even though they sell a good product they recognize where it may be improved and act on it. Also it draws in repeat customers who are happy with their current products but have the itch to upgrade.

    BTL on two 4500D?

It is important for a manufacturer to specify more electrical upgrades rather than less, because if they say 2-3 batteries people will do the minimum almost every time. Most times if you need to ask about the power you can use, you should be using less. I would use one amp per BTL if this is for daily use (which since you're tuning to 27 Hz I'm assuming it is).
