Any chance on getting a different cone colour if you stick with the boob? Like black surround, greyish cone, black cap? Or any combo of those? The DD composite cones are so sexy, and stand out.

She has a nice ass.. I hope the front is worthy of Sundown too. I like the big inverted caps like RE I'm sure a boob would be alright too.

I have a 100.2 bridged on 2 MAW-12's and its great. I think I could easily put one of my 1500D's on them and they would really come alive (or die.. ) but with just the "little" 100.2 on there it really shows what a small setup can do. I love it and I too can't wait to get my hands on my DD midbass' and see what happens.

I should have my stuff ready to put in next month around the 16th so I'll be sure to snap some in between and finished pics.

Good stuff... Yeah, it would be a hassle.. I don't think it would be very difficult to get rid of my SAZ-1500's once I get the word out around here. We are keeping my setup hush hush till we get it in. People still think I'm running 3510's and Hifonics. We are shooing for the week of the 16th in April since I should have everything here. Are the final 3000D's gonna have gold terminals? I like the nickel look better *nitpick* lol Sundown Team Members able to trade in their 1500's for 3000's? wishful thinking probably. Sundown amps are so sexy... The SAE series looks much better then the other prototype.

Dual 2's.. I couldn't afford another 2 1500's so 3000+ watts is gonna have to do until Jacob comes out with the 3000D.

Here is one of my 9510's that will have the furry of the 2 SAZ-1500D's ganging up on them. Its getting so close to having everything to install I can taste it.

Heh.. Here is what my mom was running before: Here is her new setup with the MAW-12's: I have them running on my 100.2 in my truck right now till all my parts are here for my setup... The SQ is better compared to the sealed punch s1 and gets nice and low.. Not too bad for less then 400wRMS between them as I haven't set the gain yet. Definetly a great buy for the money.

Smartass is saying wire your sets in each door together in parallel for a 2ohm final load and only run 1 100.2 which would give your sets 100w a piece.

If they were 2ohm sets I would probably get 2 100.2's but I think a 100.4 would do. Either option really.

My SAZ-1500D's have been just sitting waiting for my subs to come so I haven't really looked them over but I installed my SAX-100.2 today for some temporary bass. I noticed you used screw terminals. Any reason for this? Any hookup where I could get allen terminals? Screw terminals just seem cheap to me and nice allen ones look clean. Nitpicking.

You are bridging the 100.4 correct? If you use a 1F2M Y-Adaptor and split your front right preout to ch 1/2 and the front left preout to 3/4 you will be able to use the balance correctly and move it from left to right and back to center. Right now it sounds like your using the fader (front/back), so you would go front for left and back for right?

See how the wire slot has a top piece (clamp) that the screw threads through and tightens the wire into the terminal? The clamp is such a soft metal that any over torquing, however minor, will strip the clamp really easy.... Where as on the Sundowns terminals you can pretty much only go so far and then the screwdriver head will pop out and spin.

Get a 1F2M Y-Adapter then you can use the balance for L & R

I forgot why I hated screw type terminals... Elemental Designs uses a clip and screw so it is VERY easy to strip the clip that the screw goes through... The Sundown screw type are basically like allen terminals with screw heads on them. I am fine with these, its the eD style that are cheap and not worthy of a nice amp like the Sundown series. I guess thats what you get for rushing to judgement before you think why you hate them in the first place.
