I could do that. Just don't know if having the seat-back folded up defeats the purpose. Does anyone out there run this type of setup daily?

All I can say, is WOW... This is a nice build! -
I'd be down for Lansing. I could round up a few Grand Rapids area people. I'd like to meet you folks!

Nice setup! Can't wait to see how you finish it off. The demo vid had me cracking up! Your buddy's face said it all.

Cotton would definitely work. My main concern would be making sure that the loose, shredded cotton fibers don't get sucked into the motor of the woofer..

TeamNemesis-DJ has one-upped the hair trick... 1st ever "Dread Trick"!! (See vid 1)

I hope all goes well for you. Maybe you can find another reliable source, and spring back stronger than before!

I know you got frustrated when your amp troubles popped up, but I'm glad you toughed it out. The Camaro pounds, and can only get better!

I'm not comfortable with the idea of bouncing my KIA off the rev limiter.. I love my KIA.

Don't fall back into it. You've already been there, and you already know that it sucks. Everybody here is offering solid advice. If you're working a ton, you have no time to slump into the drug thing. Set a goal for yourself (a reward, if you will..). Work your ass off for a year, stay clean, and buy yourself a piece of audio gear as a reward for cleaning yourself up. Then, keep going. Stay cool..

Perfect way to get more Sundown gear on the streets!! They look great.

You'll be happy with that Cadence amp. I run a ZRS7000D, and LOVE it. -
Welcome.. You'll meet lots of neat-o folks here!

The square design has its benefit..(more surface area), but isn't necessarily the perfect design. If it didn't work, MTX wouldn't have copied Kicker's proven design. What cracks me up, is when this design first popped up, other companies jumping on the bandwagon. Xtant with the hex shape, Sony with the 5 side (still in a round basket) and the BEST IDEA EVER--Bazooka's triangle sub . Wouldn't a triangle offer less surface area than a square (and possibly less than a circle of the same proposed size)? I've had lengthy discussions over the design flaws of 6x9s.. If it doesn't work, it'll go away..kinda like 3 sided subs.

Hi everyone.. I'm a (almost) 42 year old from Ada, Michigan. I've been fascinated with car audio since I was 16. I worked at a car audio retailer for a while, and continue to install as a hobby. I love to design and build subwoofer enclosures. I'm constantly trying different woofer /enclosure combos, which drives my wife up the wall. I truly enjoy listening to different setups in different vehicles.. Every system has its own quirks and qualities, which is what car audio should be about, and what makes it so fun. I drive an '06 KIA Spectra, with a healthy mix of older and newer gear. Glad to be here.. Ken

I'm just about 42.. I still love installing gear and I still get all giddy when I fire-up a new subwoofer enclosure for the first time. I tend to hang on to my older gear.. if it still works,, don't replace it. The oldest piece in my car is my Ultimate US2125 amplifier. I have it running my MB Quart front stage. Lanman, I used to LOVE the early 90's LANZAR Opti-Drive amps. Welcome to the forum!!
