Yea I got ya I'm right where airline goes under the interstate lol. And the dcon 15" is only 300w rms and that's kinda pushin me away. Right now I'm running a shitty hifonics 1200w amp but it lasted longer than my sundown 1200 lmao.

Mine sound great right now I don't have a problem with them. I just want to try a 15 and explore different subs pretty much.

    SQ 15" Subwoofer

Yes I want a quality sub, I have no care for spl right now. Don't worry ab the build of the enclosure it will be taken care of I guarantee. Basically asking for the best sq 15 around 200 bucks.

    SQ 15" Subwoofer

"Will be most likely going in a ported box in the trunk of my altima."
  11. I am building a box for 2 SA-12's for the trunk of my altima. I want to have a square port between the 2 subs on the front of the box, looking somewhat like this: O | O sub port sub Using 3/4" MDF and outside dimensions, my box's height can only have ~ a height of 16.5", a width of 33", and a depth of 16.5" (however, the depth can be altered a good bit if needed) I need to know what dimensions to make the port and the dimensions of the box itself if anyone could help. Thanks.
  12. Wouldnt that be like way more expensive?
  13. So id be good just runnin 4 gauge in those places?
  14. You just replace alternator+ to battery+, battery- to chassis, and engine ground to chassis cables with an upgraded gauge wire basically right?
  15. Is it the big three hard to do if ive never done it myself? ive heard of it and have an idea of it, but never fooled with it myself.
  16. Thanks guys i think ill go with the 1200w sundown amp.
  17. i have an 06 nissan altima
  18. And ive heard sundown amps are a little underrated so i think id be ok with the headroom from the underrating of the 1200w.
  19. you think payin the extra $150 for the extra 300w is worth it?
  20. yea the crescendo is about $200 more than that but not refurbished. But sundown amps are good ive heard, i might try that one.
  21. yea but if i didnt have to spend that much i wouldnt, i just wanted a good quality amp. know of any better quality amps a lil cheaper maybe that you think would fit better for the subs?
  22. I was gunna try the new crescendo 3000W monoblock but any other amp you recommend?
  23. Yea i gotcha. is it better to make it 45 tho?
  24. Ok so i would have to make the port 90 toward each sub to finish off the 36" in length i would need correct?
