So ive been convinced by a third party to swap my fosgate amps for some audison amps and im wondering if i should still go all active up front. Im looking at 2 SRX 5 channels rated at 4X75, 1X160 @ 4ohm or 2X150 1X160 @ 4ohm (all my drivers are single 4) and i was planning on keeping my 301x fosgate amp I need to power pair front tweets, pair front midrange, pair front midbass, pair rear passive componants and center channel (9 channels) Ive sorta boiled it down to either All Audison active = 2X150 front midrange, 4x75 rear and front tweet, 2x160 midbass and center channel off the fosgate Fosgate/audison active 2X150 front midrange, 2 X150 rear, 2X160 midbass and center channel and front tweets off the fosgate Audison passive = 2X150 front passive, 2X150 rear passive, 2 X160 midbass and center channel off the fosgate Mind you i eventually want to go 5.1 but i want the best sq possible

some people shouldnt even be allowed btls if they are going to be all cry babies. If u want something right now theres some cheap ass lightning audios at your local best buy with a longer warranty anyway.

ya thats true but honestly a phone number wont really help that. nick doesnt live in LV and scott has alot of work he needs to get done... From working at a stereo shop that everyone and thier mom wants to talk to the owner and no one else. Ive seen days where my boss cant get anything done because people wont leave him alone persay. I dont think scott has the time to be a secretary if we expect him to continue to do R&D and keep improving the line which he has been doing very well. In the end people really need to realize no one needs anything to stay alive so an extra few days or so isnt hurting anyone. And to all you competitors its not really scotts issue that such and such needs to get out by such date so u can make a show. Im guilty of doing that to scott myself and even thou i did get my product by said date and did awesome at the comp i had what 2 months from the last one to get things together and i didnt do so. LOL so i think fi should stay exactly how it is and if people want to cry about such and such look at all the other manufacts. I guarantee if i asked DD to get me a woofer by such date they would laugh and say wait in line ull recieve it when u recieve it. All good product takes time

lol im going to have to agree somewhat because i know im not flat and far from it but ive always been curious what the car would look like on a RTA. I think it would be a useful tool to look at everything from all angles but just because you have one or use one doesnt mean u have to be 100% RTA flat. I know i wouldnt be because i dont like music like that

i wish i had an RTA to do so honestly

i really want to hear what jacob has to say... honestly i want to hear from someone who has tested them both and isnt biased... alot of info ive read on those batteries vs each other sounds a bit fishy imo

Sry to keep posting these questions but ill try to make it as specific as possible. Mind you i perfer a really warm sounding speaker but i also like detail. So im doing a 3 way setup with either the CDT ES 07 and the Peerless SLS or the Hertz Hi Energy 165 (6.5) and HV200 (8) So which do you think i would like more and would have the best SQ

lol i hope i get a chance to but i have a feeling i wont hear any mille equiptment for a while. Im actually thinking of doing an Audison amp for my highs thou.... i wonder what they do for employees. Not 100% sure what i should do thou

Interesting... i got t he same recommendation on another forum. I was planning on placing the midrange in the same area as the stock "circle" and using the rest of the pod for the 8" midbass but if i were to do that the 8 wouldn't really "vent" into the door itself it would just sorta be in the panel. Whereas the circle area easily vents into the door itself

need tiny amp, 200 watts
emperorjj1 replied to creyc's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
i could get you a RF 40ix -
right... im doing IB for my midrange but also a midbass sealed. The midrange is going to fire somewhat in the stock speaker location but the door panel/pod isnt going to be sealed up against the actual metal of the door

yup boss does whatever it wants because it can. and if someone sues because of lying they can always say 20v clipped or some chit it does that max rating. Either way thou consumers determine the market. As long as peeps like your friend believe them does it matter what they put?
