2003 toyota camry and some Fi BL's
[email protected] replied to [email protected]'s topic in Build Logs
Man thanks thats really relaxing to know that. Box started today over at a shop near me. If they do a good job then I'll post they're name on here but they've already messed up once. This is their second chance. I'm confident they will do a good job on it. Its the owner of the shop building it now when before it was his installer. Bad experience with the first one but I have faith in the guy. -

It's gonna be 2 Fi BL 12's fully loaded. The box is gonna be built by a local shop and I requested a pretty big port to move some air so they asked me for the size of port i wanted. Its gonna be 5 ft3 and tuned to 33 hz. i would use about 80 inches of port area calculator says 65 but from personal experience with the BL they perform better with a little more so if i made the port 16x5 how deep would it need to be or is there other dimensions you would use? heres a calculator for that Port calc if your net internal volume is 5 cubes and 16x5 port then it needs to be 32 inches long thanks bro i appreciate the help can i post whats going in my car in this section or do i need to create a new one If you want to do a build log then start a new one in that section. Show us some pics man! gonna start one right now

Just have to say that these guys on here have excellent customer service! Ordered an xs D3400 on Monday and recieved it Wednesday mid-day. That was freaking super fast! Great guys and cool store. Not my first battery from them and it wont be the last.

[email protected] replied to Elrey7698's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I agree. I had the same problem with my camry. Wouldnt start but when they jumped it it would stay on. I took my battery to autozone and they load tested it and they said it wasnt holding a charge. Time to change your battery. -
Wiring BL's to an amp
[email protected] replied to [email protected]'s topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
How many ohms are your speakers and how do you have them wired to what impedance at the amp? -
I need help guys. So I bought 2 Fi BL's a couple of months ago and I've gone through 2 hifonics brutus amps. I am currently waiting on a sundown saz3500 that I just ordered. The problem I'm having is the speakers are .7 ohms per coil. How should I wire them to the amp. I dont want to blow another amp. GUYS I am in need of some help please.

so OHJAY will my new sundown 3500 be a match for these subs at .7? They are dual 1 ohm subs correct? If so yes they'll be fine. You NEED to figure out why you are blowing through amps first, or just flush the money down the toilet and save yourself the headache. yeah they are dual 1 ohm subs. .7 nominal--- I'm learning as I go.
