    My amps are running hot

Thanks Jacob. Just wanted to be sure I wasn't hurting my amps. To much invested in them for that. Have a safe & happy Memorial Day weekend guys. Later

    My amps are running hot

Both my 1500D & 100.2 is getting hot under normal operation. Not so hot I can't touch 'em but pretty warm. The 1500D is pushing my SS RL-p D2 at 1ohm & my 100.2 is pushing my comp set at 4ohms. I run 1/0 wire to both & they are in an area where they should be getting a sufficient amount of air for cooling. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Thanks guys.

Do I need to reset gains?

I rewired my sub from 1ohm to 4ohm & was wondering do I need to reset my gains or redo the wiring config. from my amp to my sub ? My set-up is in my sig. line if that helps. It sounds the same but maybe not as punchy as before & it has a little less volume in the substage. I can hear my front stage alot better now also. Also I messed up & stripped out one of my screw mounting holes in my enclosure. Is there an easy fix or should I just go ahead & get a nut & bolt for it? Thanks, Chris.

    FI Q D2 10"

Thanks guys . I might go with a Q 12" & try a different box design. Might be able to get a little more room. Later, Chris.

    favorite songs

I'm partial to rock so right now i'm kicking My Chemical Romance- The Black Parade. R&B would be R.Kelly-12 Play. The only rap i've listened to fairly recently that sounded good to me was Beastie Boys-License to Ill & Nelly-Country Grammar. JMHO, YMMV. Be good, Chris. P.S. Almost forgot, Nelly Furtado-Loose. The whole album pounds great on my 12".

    FI Q D2 10"

Ok, here's the deal. I need a little more room for passengers in my truck so i've decided to down size to a 10" sub. These are my questions: 1) Will a 10" Q handle the power from a SAZ-1500D at 1ohm? or would a D1 wired at 2ohm be better? 2) Would there be a noticable difference going from a 12" to 10" sub? SQ wise that is. 3) What is an optimal sealed enclosure size, square footage wise, for a 10" Q? I want it to get loud but sound quality is my main objective. All I can think of for now. Need more info just ask. All help greatly appreciated. Chris.

    Movie Quotes

"What we've got here is failure to communicate." "I love the smell of napalm in the morning." "A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti." "Let me tell you something, pendejo. You pull any of your crazy chit with us, you flash your piece out on the lanes, I'll take it away from you and stick it up your ass and pull the effing trigger 'til it goes, click." Maude Lebowski: What do you do for recreation? The Dude: Oh, the usual. I bowl. Drive around. The occasional acid flashback. Ernest Hemingway once wrote, "The world is a fine place and worth fighting for." I agree with the second part. Tim: There he is! King Arthur: Where? Tim: There! King Arthur: What? Behind the rabbit? Tim: It *is* the rabbit! King Arthur: You silly sod! Tim: What? King Arthur: You got us all worked up! Tim: Well, that's no ordinary rabbit. King Arthur: Ohh. Tim: That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on! Sir Robin: You tit! I soiled my armor I was so scared! Tim: Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer! Sir Galahad: Get stuffed! Tim: He'll do you up a treat, mate. Sir Galahad: Oh, yeah? Sir Robin: You mangy Scots git! Tim: I'm warning you! Sir Robin: What's he do? Nibble your bum? Tim: He's got huge, sharp... er... He can leap about. Look at the bones! King Arthur: Go on, Bors. Chop his head off! Sir Bors: Right! Silly little bleeder. One rabbit stew comin' right up! [after Bors is killed by the killer rabbit] Tim: I *warned* you, but did you listen to me? Oh, no, you *knew*, didn't you? Oh, it's just a harmless little *bunny*, isn't it? All i can think of for now. Later, Chris.
