Looked around for a bit and decided to go with this dual rectifier alt from alternatorparts.com . I ran it via specs of their website ( BTW i got the Quicktifier210 with a 220 amp denso alt). Guy told me it would do full output at 1200rpm( 120 i think at Idle). I upgraded the big three and ran it all with 1/0 Knu Koncept Kolossus wire. I am not running much, Double din JVC HU and a lightning audio 600.2 on a single W0 10. Gain is set to half. Optima Red top batt. My ordeal is, that the moment I put it in gear everything dims. And, if i have a few things on ( IE. air, turn sigs, headlights) things seem to get a bit worse. I took the gauge cluster out and cleaned everything up and took the main harness off the fire wall and cleaned all that too. It did help. I really do not think i have too much to cause that much of an issue. Checked the voltage with the DVOM and voltage drop is going from 14.25 to 13.8 when put into gear with ebrake on. Everything glows bright an works fine when i am running down the road. When i stop turn sigs look like they are worn out and slow to a creep. i'm going to add new batts and such in the future as the rest of my stuff rolls in for the new build. I just dont know what else to look at. BTW this is a 91 dodge ramcharger.

Not sure exactly what it idles at . Somewhere around 800 I believe. I did have to raise it to compensate for my old pulley being kinda large . I am going to adjust the idle up a bit cause I bet I set it too low. I always overlook the simple stuff.

The pulley I have is slightly bigger than the one it came with. But , its a lot smaller than my original pulley and I used that for a bit. I'll look for the vac leak (quite possible on those things, they have a ton of vac lines). I had to get a different pulley. I have v_belts and it came with a serpentine. I called the vendor for my alt. Alt is making a slight.whine at the unit itself. Hopefully he call me back.

I went to a local store back when kicker first came out with the squares. When I asked about them, the owner said "" why would you want a sub that puts out square waves"" I mean seriously. That shop was a huge FAIL. Along with the next business he started up.

Hello all , I'm new to this forum. Been browsing for a couple months now. I found you by a searching for wall installs. Then i was hooked. I love the demeanor of the site and the people seem genuine I'm Scott and I'm 29. I've been into car audio since before I could drive. My first Truck was a 1983 Dodge Ram with two Pioneer 6x9's, two home 3.5's in the dash ( where the original 4x10 was supposed to be), and two Pyramid 10's in a sealed box i made from some old cabinets. The HU was a walmart Pioneer. The amp was a Road Gear. I moved on from there to a Jeep Cherokee with a Pioneer 720mp HU, Infiniti 125x4 to two infiniti Kappa components and two Kappa 5.25's. A Kove Zx 1000 powered my Kove Armageddon 15. And a Red top battery. On to today: 1991 Dodge Ramcharger 2wd I have a red top battery, 220 amp alt. with dual rectifiers and the big 3 upgraded with 1/0 KnuKonceptz OFC. Right now I am just running a Lightning Audio 600.2 on a 10" JL W0 tuned to 52Hz and 4 Aurasound 6's. i have already started on the components for the new build. I Have two Planet Audio ac5000.1 D's ( plan on getting two more). I will also get 4 more Aurasound 6's and some Vifa Tweeters. I'm not sure which amp I'm gonna use for those, but I'm leaning towards the ZED Draconia. Planning on putting two bucket seats in the rear in place of the bench . I am going to move them up a few inches and put a wall in for some Xcons. Going for 4 18's but have to double check my space. HU is a double din JVC KVX830 in a fiberglass console that my buddy and I made. Wanting to get some XS power 3100 batteries as well. Glad I found you all.
