i've been attempting to get a puppy for the last few weeks... everything seems to have fallen through. had a new born cockapoo that was rescued, and 3 days before i was picking him up for good, the lady decided she couldnt give him up, and the few i've found at the human society have been on hold and picked up by others... heres to hoping though! gorgeous dogs. mans best friend.

the way i look at it is, everyone on here is a person. every person has an attitude, a set of beliefs, and a certain amount of knowledge. and on top of that, everyone has an opinion. on everything. never fails. the sharing of said opinion should never be frowned upon. picked apart, torn down, changed... fine. but not made fun of, or "bashed". many of you run a business. speak on here as you would speak to a customer in your shop. telling people they're stupid and wrong wont make them want to listen. yes, there are too many variables to have a specific answer. therefore, list possibilities.. the BL "could" end up louder. its a high quality sub, and many have seen fantastic results out of it. the type Rs could get loud too. there are quite a few people that have put up some amazing numbers with type Rs. in my "opinion" they sound like a goat getting screwed by a wild boar, but hey.. to each their own.

crumbles ftw. although i remember my toyota pick up.. thing was a block of steel. i would back in to the concrete poles at circuit city as a park assist. i took chunks out.. bumper never even had a scratch. had to roll it to do damage.. anyways, get it straight, and build this box! haha. second one.

idk. he makes sense. you guys are trying to bash the crap out of him, but he gave an honest "opinion"... you know.. those things that people apparently arent allowed to have..

i would angle it backwards by lifting the sides. maybe an inch in the front, and 3 inches in the back. that should be enough room to keep the subs off the floor. i wish i could draw pictures in a quick response. like with my fingers or something. how cool would that be?

Anything that competes with the SA-8?
Alan Palmer replied to FocusedOnSound's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
i heard a set up with 2 DD 1508's on 1k.. was freaking nuts. sounded amazing, played everything. id say they easily compete, if not beat the sa 8s. -

New amp? I think so.
Alan Palmer replied to Dangrebel's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
no personal experience with the gear, but navid is an awesome guy. he's been taking a lot of steps in the right direction, and will hopefully provide you with the service that he's promised. solid choice. post up updates! -
In Need of Electrical Information!!!
Alan Palmer replied to MasterG's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
best bet would be upgrading your alternator, and perhaps adding an extra battery. as for the sub choice, the 4xls or mayhems would be my top choices -
gorgeous car. hopefully it gets its self reliable quick for you. looks like you know what you're doing. i look forward to watching it continue to come together. the lights look great, the alarm work is clean, gear choice is great.. hard to find anything bad about it. ) those xxx's can sound pretty sweet. i had a buddy with ~10 pairs of them in his truck. ish jammed.

if you're looking to amp them in the future, theres an ignorant amount of options in your price point. if you want something built to perform at full capacity off head unit power, look into the hertz diecis. DSK-165 is most likely what you will want. great price point, great company to work with if you run into problems, and they'll sound better than 99% of comparable speakers.

still the most impressive car i've ever heard.

4th order for a Warden/ Will it work?
Alan Palmer replied to gibsonm21's topic in Incriminator Audio
if you've got the wood and the ability, try it. wardens can perform amazingly in a bandpass. i personally would talk to these guys about a design. http://www.facebook.com/BassheadsENT
