your right we both have opinions and how we feel our systems should be ran..i feel its stupid to only run speakers in front and you feel its stupid to run them in the back..so on this subject we'll have to agree to disagree

We're all entitled to an opinion, but I'm just curious what Nick has done that's so egregious? im sorry i should have said it better nothing against the owner hmiself, but one of his associates that sell the SI line that i dont want to mention..and i know that shouldnt have anything on the owner himself but if you walk into a restaurant and the employees give you bad service you dont want to give them your business even though it wasnt the owner himself that gave you bad service..thats just how i feel.. All sales are direct now, and if you have a bad experience with a dealer, the beauty of this forum and the internet manufactures is, you have a direct line of communication to the owner of the company. You could have easily called Nick with your complaint, or sent him an email or PM, and I assure you, you would have been well taken care of. I would comment on the new Mag, but it would be pointless as they are not even available yet, so your only options are to see the two reviews which have so far been given. oh ok i didnt know that..well im glad you told me incase i want to venture over there in the future..but for now ive got my mind made up on going ssa icons..but i will look into the new mags once they are out maybe for one of my other cars..thank for the info bro

sounds good man get a 250-300 amp alt, i've only used ohio generator i think they are called..are expensive though..i hear great things about excessive amperage i was quoted $500 for a 300amp alt http://www.excessiveamperage.com/ 2 icon 15's on 2 sundown 1000d's compliment each other very well...under the hood id keep the factory battery and on the side throw in a yellow top...dont waste time with caps..get some good wiring and your good to go..also i dont know what kind of speakers you have but it was brought to my attention folks here only like to do there fronts..if thats you then maybe just buy a set of components for the front i myself like to do the whole truck..but what you've posted for your vision is really good man..

its your money bro and if it makes you happy do it..all we can do is tell what "we" feel and i myself feel you would be much happier with that kicker amp i posted..its better quality..its real watts..and its more dependable..you gotta look at amp brands has cars..lol where has a kicker is your denali,escalade,QX56,ml55amg, and the hofonics is your honda crv,haundi,sante fe,ford escape..

never go on max power..and thats not just for amps bro thats for subs has well..always look for rms just has a starting point before you start considering the item just to see if it will give you what you want

Well, in my case I never had rear speakers to begin with, but yes...there's absolutely no point in upgrading rear speakers if a decent soundstage is a priority. Think about it. At a concert, the band is in front of you, generally speaking. Why would you want a guitar or vocal part to come from directly behind you? I've never understood the "it's for the passengers" argument, either. In Dave's Camry, heck I preferred the rear seat because you could sit in the middle and listen to everything centered with the time alignment off No problems with not hearing anything then... Now, if someone doesn't care and "just wants to hear the words", that's different... lmfao i was going to bring up this point but i didnt because i wanted to see how long it would take someone to say it..also think of this way..when you at the theaters or if you have a home theater system do you only have the speakers in front? no they are besides you and behind you...so the argument can go both ways..i guess if you got the money then do the whole car/truck if your on a budget..i guess theres worse things you can do then just doing the fronts.. You're talking about surround formats, which are a totally different issue 5.1 surround is very different than 2-channel stereo...because they have discrete channels that are specifically encoded for those surround speakers. With two-channel stereo playing on four speakers, all you're doing is playing the same material in different places. i like to have that "surround" feeling in my truck has well..lol i just dont like factory speakers

first thing i would do is sell the tsunami cap..its just going to put a bigger strain on your factory electrical system and really do you no good at all..figure you get about $50 for it..so now you got $200..honestly i would sell all the speakers you have and get a nice set of components from ebay so figure you sell the cap for $50 and get another $60 for all the speakers and im just saying $60 for the sake of this post you can maybe get more..so $150 that you already have+$50+$60=$260 heres what i would for compoenets speakers id get these http://cgi.ebay.com/ALPINE-SPS-13C2-5-25-2...1QQcmdZViewItem 2 sets of these brand new for $70 figure about $20 for shipping so thats $90 we got $170 ..the kenwood excelon amp you have is a nice amp..i would keep it so we need a small 4 channel amp for the speakers this 4 channel amp would be perfect http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-2008-KENWOOD...1QQcmdZViewItem cost is $118 about $137 with shipping so we got $33 left and you have a nice sub,amp,component speakers,4 channel amp,got your wiring,got your head unit and still have $33 left over..this is what i would do with the money availiable goodluck man.. ****edit*** i just looked at the speakers you already have there not too bad..if you feel they do the job for you keep them and just get the 4 channel amp

it is, but he's more SQ kind of guy. I'm just skeptical whether 2 12" ICONs can get really loud. All the impressive videos I've seen have been 3-4+ 12" ICONs.
