^^^^^The reason it is wrong is that there is no law that states the size and number of subs increase at the same rate. The DCON loves smaller ported enclosures and if I am not mistaken the optimal size for two 12" DCONS ported is around 3.3 cubes. I would also tune it around 30-32hz for a daily system. I am sure someone smarter than me will chime in but those are just my thoughts.

4.5 cubes net is too big IMHO for 2 12" DCONS. I think you will find that 3.5 cubes net is just about perfect for your set up.

Sorry you had to close up shop Mike. It is a shame that the choices for quality audio products seems to be getting smaller and smaller. Best of wishes to your future endeavors.

Unless someone put the keys in it after it was jacked, he's got the proof to prove their negligence in the pics he posted. The keys are in the ignition, so from what I saw they left the keys in it with the doors unlocked in an obviously unsecured building. If that's not negligence I don't know what would be. I am sorry if my post was confusing. When I stated the "keys left in vehicle" I was making a hypothetical situation where a theft may have occured not based on this specific incident. The other hypotheticals I made referring to unlocked doors and turning the alarm on was referring to the building were the work was being done and not the car itself.
-
I find this rather hard to believe. A securty alarm, a door lock, and whatever else won't do shit when the vehicles are locked in a building that gets broken into. BNG, hit me up man. I've got some DD 9512's sitting here that I'll drop the price quite a bit for ya on. I also have some other shit. If I can be of any help please let me know. J I was refering to the building where the car was kept as having its doors locked, security alarm on, etc not the car itself.

Im sorry to say but the laws regarding this are not on your side. The type of relationship you and the shop had is known as a Bailment agreement. This basically states they wont misuse your car, do work according to a stipulated work order which can be either verbal or signed, and a bunch of other boring things. Where the Law protects the shop is that you must prove negligence{keys left in car, door unlocked, security code not armed, etc} in order to find the shop liable for any theft. If the shop can prove that all measures were met then the burden of replacing said losses due to theft lies on you or your insurance{providing you have it.}

Nicely Done Bro!!!

I would also do two 12" Dcons but I would do them ported in about a 3.5 cube box tuned to about 30hz. If done right they will sound just as well as a sealed enclosure but will offer up more low end as well as Dcons have been known to shine in ported enclosures opposed to sealed. JMHO

^X2 I agree that 2 12 Dcons in a 3.5ft^3 ported box tuned around 32hz powered by 500-600 watts would sound amazing as far as Sq and get plenty plenty loud for a daily driver set up.

Has anyone heard the True Bass Solutions Ultra 10 subs? If so what are they comprable to.

Here is a link to their specs which is all I can find on them. They were suggested by a member on another forum called AudioPhil who said that most SSA Sundown IA FI stuff is "off the shelf garbage" and that these at $180 each are in an entirely different class. I am a big SSA fan myself and was juct curious on others thoughts. EDIT Cant display link because it is on C. A. C. O. But if you do a search you will find the link. AudioPhil has been spamming those drivers for several years. Ask him why he recommends them so much and see if you get the truth. Then ask yourself if these drivers are so good, why are they not more well known and used more like SSA, and Fi? Or you can spend the $180 and find out for yourself. Those are my feelings exactly and that is why I asked for everyones input. I am going to stick with my SSA stuff which is tried and true. Thanks for the input everyone.

Are JL amps made in the USA?
CTAudio posted a topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Last time i knew the majority of JL Audio amps were made in China with the slash series being made in Korea has this changed? The reason is on another forum there are people that are convinced they are made in miramar florida. -
Sundown Audio vs Hifonics

yeah because I always judge an amp on how it looks opposed to how it performs. LOL YSFN -
which one is a good palm sander
CTAudio replied to irvin productionz's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
I would get an orbital sander instead of a sheet sander because they are faster, easier{less chance of a gouge}, and better quality{ dont leave sand marks}. Home Depot has a nice DeWalt 5"orbital for like 60$. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-100076641/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053 -
