Mainly becuase i replaced a set of 12" hc's with them. (the hc's were several years old, and tired to say the least) The hc's simply walked all over the se's:( in retrospect- i should have just reconed the hc's.. im sure the se's are decent subs, but they didnt live up to the hype... well hell, the SEs were never meant to contend with an HC, thats what the SXs were for. . . I'm aware of that... still disappointed me:)

ooh boy- here we go.. i regret getting- 4 ed 19ov2's 2 ed 13ov2's 5 hifonics amps 1 of my tc5200's 2 12" re se's 2 re 8's things i regret selling 4 re hc's 2 18" mt's 4 of the rockford t30001bd's ( i loved those amps, i still have 2 though:) )

I answered you in your post at tc forums, but.. it is very similar to the Audiomobile MASS driver (probably the same motor, actually) it is an under hung driver:) hope that helps

Devildriver- that is for sure a nice write up! One material that i didnt see your thoughts on that i would be interested to know- Titanium.. everyone knows of TC's problems with the aluminum one piece cone- fair enough. but with the apparent lack of failures of the TI cone- it really seems to be a viable option as far as cones go... So- anyone, really- what are your feelings on the TI cones?

I've yet to hear anything from DD sound remotely good...if it's out there, it's hiding from me curious as to whether or not you have heard the dd 91? series sub? (their "sq" sub) ive not, nor do i care to, but just curious...

tc sounds includes screws (at least on their 5200's)... nice ones as well. (hex heads, with a hex wrench) just kinda a nice touch... not really needed, though

will do for sure... tis a shame that tc doesnt want to keep there customers happy, ah im sure fi will be just as nice...

this is for scott or any of the fi reps... heres what im wanting to do- im working on a show car, and im wanting to powdercoat my subs to match certian parts on the vehicle (baskets to match the exterior color, and top/bottom plate of the motor to match certian trim in the interior) after i order and pay would it be possible to send me those parts so i can get them powdercoated, then send them back for assembly? thanks! (btw- i was going to order 2 tc5200's and have this done, but they have the absolute worst customer service i have ever recieved, i.e.- they dont EVER respond to emails, or pm's on their own forum, and they are generally clueless) Scott has been more than professional and helpfull each time ive asked something... so, that leaves only one option- goodbye tc, hello fi!
