Would you actually get pulled over for doing the speed limit there, though ? I know you won't here, which is exactly why people continue to go the speed limit. People don't worry about crashing; they worry about getting tickets.
-
The probable reason for that is because morons continue to go the speed limit even in adverse conditions. I've always been a proponent of different speed limits for different conditions ... i.e. Highway ... 120 km/h (75 mph) in dry weather 80 km/h (50 mph) in wet weather 40 km/h (25 mph) in snowy/icy weather Rural ... 75 km/h (45 mph) in dry weather 50 km/h (30 mph) in wet weather 25 km/h (15 mph) in snowy/icy weather City ... 60 km/h (35 mph) in dry weather 40 km/h (25 mph) in wet weather 20 km/h (15 mph) in snowy/icy weather

The 13B WAS lightweight in its day, but compared to today's all-aluminum alloy cast engines, they're fairly heavy. The Mazda 13B engine weighs 278 lbs. The VW/Audi 1.8T weighs 221 lbs. The Honda B16B weighs 309 lbs. Not to mention cost and reliability.

You can probably get rid of most of that stuff, Bobby ... I'll give it a look over later as I don't have the time to do it right now, but I can tell you some things quickly right now that may help you ... ccApp + SNDMon = Norton Anti-Virus (required) NvCpl = nVidia graphics card drivers (required) nwiz = nView Desktop Manager Wizard (Uncheck this, just eats up RAM) CTFMon = Advanced Text Services. Generally not required. Unchecking won't remove it. To remove it, go to Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages > Details > Advanced > Check "Turn Off Advanced Text Services" > Click OK -

Under Startup programs in MSCONFIG ... Only remove a few of these at a time so you don't have to figure out which one is causing problems ... AHQTB provides an icon in the taskbar so you can quickly change your settings. This can be removed. If your sound doesn't work after removing this, re-enable it. navapw32 + SNDMon are Norton Anti-Virus components. If you're not using Norton anymore, remove these. InkMonitor monitors your ink levels and informs you when you're running low on ink. Not needed on any of the Epson printers I've used. If your printer doesn't work properly after disabling this, re-enable it. RUNDLL32 - You need to expand the command section so I can see where this is coming from. Nv makes me suspect it has something to do with Nvidia, but I'm not certain. MsgPlus - I haven't used Messenger Plus in a while, but last I checked, it wasn't needed at startup. Remove both. qttask opens Quicktime at startup. Definitely not needed. I would uninstall Quicktime as this will never go away until you uninstall it. I can send you the k-lite Mega Codec pack so you don't need Real Player or Quicktime to play Real or Quicktime media. iTuneshelper monitors the computer for iPod devices. Not needed, but if your iPod doesn't connect after disabling it, re-enable it. jussched auto-updates your Java client. Not needed. NBJ schedules hard drive back ups. If you manually back up your hard drive, you should disable this. If Nero Back-It-Up no longer works after disabling this, re-enable it. msnmsgr opens MSN at startup. In order to stop it from loading, you must disable this and in MSN. Tools > Options ... > General > Uncheck "Automatically Run when I log on to Windows" Epson Status Monitor isn't needed, IIRC. If your printer no longer works properly, re-enable it. -
Went golfing today ... Started on the back 9 and finished on the front ... Shot well on the back 9 and ended up with a 38, which is my best 9 of the year. Then I turned around and shot a 52 on the front 9, which is my worst 9 of the year, to end up with a 90 ... The thing that pisses me off most is that the front 9 is easier AND I've played it a lot more often ... Grrr ... I still have no idea how I managed to turn my best and worst 9s of the year in the same round ...

I never really got the iPod craze in the first place ... Then again, I never get most crazes (PSP, Tickle-Me Elmo, etc.)

All the items that have been crossed-out should be removed if you don't use them ... I left Firefox and Desktop uncrossed because I personally find it much more convienient to have those two in the Quick Launch. If you don't use any of them, just remove the Quick Launch bar altogether by right-clicking on an empty part of the bar > Toolbars > Quick Launch Also, if at all possible, clean up the desktop by grouping similar items into folders. The fewer items you have on the desktop, the less memory will be taken up. In benchtests, I've found that your computer starts to get slower after you exceed 8 items ... -

Steve ... Start > Run ... > msconfig > startup ... take a screenshot ... -
I don't think anyone will ever figure that out ... I just assume he has a mental incapacity and stop thinking about it ...

Start > Run ... > type in services.msc > Right-Click on Automatic Updates and select Properties > Startup Type = Disabled > Click OKIf you wish to get Windows Updates in the future, you'll have to turn this back to automatic in order to get them ...

Yes ... So do Icons on your desktop ... and icons in your Taskbar ...
-
He got a screenshot of 9:11 on 9/11 (while calling 911 ?) ... That's a lot of icons in your Quick Launch bar, Steve ... That's probably chewing up a good portion of your RAM ...

http://www.donkervoort.nl/car.htm Only street-legal car to beat the Carrera GT around the Nurburgring ... Not only did it beat it, but it beat it by 10 seconds (7:18 to 7:28). It uses a tuned VW/Audi 1.8T engine making roughly 270 hp and a modified Caterham Super Seven chassis ...

Donkervoort D8 > Ariel Atom A CBR1000RR would've been pretty even w/ it, IMO ...

I didn't make any mistake ... I merged the threads together and, when they merged, it came up deleted for some odd reason ...Coder's fault, not mine ... If anything, I'm more 1337 than I was earlier today ...

Well, no one said it was fast ... and, obviously, if you're making less than 50 hp @ 2000 RPM at full throttle, you're not going to get much thrust force ...
