SAZ3500D, able to use?
momoney replied to momoney's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
well I haven't gotten in it. and I don't want it to slip away if I can use it. but I don't want to go spending 1000s on making my electric systme handle the 3500d when I could just buy another amp already suited. Feel me ? Idk what to do. -

how expensive is that? or should i just go with a different amp? I was running an XTI-4000DE off the battery just fine :/ -
I drive an 03 Dodge ram....I am looking into a Sundown SAZ3500D (my dream amp....haha) and I was told that it pulls 300A and that my truck alternator puts out 120A max. I was for sure planning on running another battery for the amp, but another alternator and more upgrades? what all is required to upgrade to be able to use the 3500D? Is it worth it? Fill me in.

....youre speaking a different language. haha

Box is ported.

I could afford 4 of any of the subs I have listed I'm quite sure.....especially with Craigslist deals. haha Budget will be whatever needs to be spent to make it great, but not break the bank.
-
well I already have the similar box with two. and the box is available. and I wanna have some fun before I ship out to the service next year, go big or go home! haha by sound quality, i mean, I don't want it to sound distorted or like farts or anything awful. i want loud and clean, exactly.

Hows it going. i have a quad cab truck, have a box built that goes front to back for 4 12" woofers. It is 67" long, 16" wide and about 36" tall at its tallest I believe. Should i run JL 12w7s, the new Kicker CVR or VX (which is heavily pressed to me by the local custom shop that recently carries Kcker), Treo SSP or TE (or other model?) or pooooossibly the FI Q 12s. Let me know what you guys think. If i go with the 12w7, what amps would I need? Two 1001/1s ? any issues with those? My goals are 1. Loud and Clean. 2. a nice medium (55/45) of loudness, to musical application 3. a reliable setup that will sound good for time to come. I will be running an extra battery.

I live west of Fort Worth, by just a few miles.

not sure what front stage is...haha I recently got a double din panel fabbed and I have a panasonic double din, its kinda fancy and i just love how easy it is to use. I currently have Treo RSX in the front but i'm about to go to RE XXX components or get more RSXs for the doors. Yes, that box is ported.

well I don't have a picture of the new setup (whats finished anyway haha) loaded yet. here's picture of my other box (currently installed). Its a badass, LOUD box. All of its for sale too...haha

my name is Quade, i'm somewhat becoming an audiophile and was told this is the best site for subs and anything related. I have a Dodge Ram quad cab, I just built a front to back box for 4 12's. I'm currently deciding what 12s i want! I currently have two RE SE 12s and the xt4000-DE that I'd like to sell. I love that system, but I don't know if I should stick with the REs or go to Treo, JL, new Kicker, who knows what. If worst comes to worst, I'll just buy two more SE's I assume. Anyway, glad to be here, just following the rules. haha. And anybody else have huge truck boxes? Just wondering.
