An Unbiased Comparison of Linear BL Technologies

Devildriver... thanks for this. Very nice write up and a SOLID understanding of whats going on in a driver. LOL... no need for my 2 cents. You Ham... You in Vegas peaking around or something? Ive got knobs for just about everything at this point... well... I cant figure a knob for mass yet (d@mn physics) -
For most daily setups 2 ports vs 1 port comes down to aesthetics... and not so much of a difference performance wise.
-
Agreed with Nick... VERY tough to do something like that... How big is the 15" box right now?
-
tprj82 I think for that one. I can send you a pdf file of the logo so that they can size it to whatever you might need. Thanks, Scott
-
Sometimes longer than Id like it to be. But we are working on fixing that one
-
If its a straight swap, thats not a bad deal... like Tej mentioned, its not a huge jump in ouput, but there is a difference.
-
Yes you can. Send an email to [email protected] with your zipcode and Ill get you a quote.

Congrats from all at Fi to tejcurrent for exemplifying what we like about this forum... friendly, helpful, and has no issue of beating the crap out of our products The $250 for "rebuilding the forum" goes to you. Let us know when you want to use it and well comp any products for you. Again... thanks for all the help on the forum.

Off the top of my head I dont remember... Ill have to run one again to see. Its not low by any means, but they play well up into the 80s before Le takes over. Plenty good for a sub. When I get back into town Ill measure one and post it here. Thanks, Scott

Now if you only knew what was written on the tops of those machined poles I have an appointment with a slot canyon and a river for the rest of the week... Ill call to see if you have a Hz for me.

Do you want it set up for a pair of subs in that space... but with separate chambers so that you can run 1 sub for now? Thanks, Scott
-

Back at you... .6 Ohms is as low as I have for dual coils... then the standard RE D.7 as well... Thanks, Scott -
We can design one based on what will fit in your vehicle dimension wise... but just about any random size or shape with that volume will work fine for sealed. There is no standard slope for prefabs or other enclosures... anything that fits works fine. Thanks, Scott
-
Should be alright if they on with their tuning. Dont need TS params to tune an enclosure as the enclosure net volume, port area, and port length are set regardless of sub TS params... now how the sub will act in that space is why you need the TS params to graph out the response. You will need to open the hole up slightly as I believe the cut ID for the 15s is 14.125"... Thanks, Scott

Scott, Nick or Shawn is anything getting through?
Fi Car Audio replied to db dom's topic in General Fi
