Third missing sub this week... 2 via UPS and 1 USPS. I am heading down to USPS in a couple of hours and will bring the receipt with me to check for the sub through them. It does have delivery confirmation and insurance on it as well. But, I ensure you that if it is lost I will deal with the claim and get you another XXX ASAP (I have 2 original motors left). I have been out of town for a few days for the Holiday and havent been on the forums as much to check. But I am back and will keep you posted either via here or your email above (I will copy this to the email as well). Sorry for the delays, Scott

Ill send one out for free. Send me an email to [email protected] with your name and address and we will get you one in the mail. Thanks, Scott

FL BTL recones wont fit in the MT gaps. Much larger coils. As Nick mentioned above, not a problem to ship out to whoever as well...

Tested many variations of the "woven" style. Nothing but issues for durability, even with nomex spiders. It abrades the spider and over time saws through. I have had several fires with it as well. The issue becomes how many tinsels you can get into the woven portion without deformation or even faster wear... too little and it heats up and can cause fires in PC spiders. Plenty of other stuff in the works through

Shipped the other day... Ill get you the tracker later tonight. Thanks, Scott

Ill check the filters and see if it got caught in there as I havent seen a Candian SX request in the past couple of days. We definitely can do it though

Weve got some 10" spiders on the way. We have had so many TCish recone requests that we needed to do something. Ill keep you posted on those.

Wow... now if that isnt some crap. As mysteriously as the DNS settings went away... this pops up. Nice Got that off of there as soon as I saw it. Website is close to done I am just going over things tonight and proof reading. Definitely needs LOTS more too it, but Im not sure how the host decided to pop that up when it was hidden far away... Assuming because they lost the balance of things when they "updated" their system and servers back on the 22nd (when everything incuding email went down). I have more than had it with them as a host and we have already signed up with another host. F'ing nightmare....

Nope. While they physically would fit, it wouldnt work well at all. A pair of 15s would do better... What do you have in the way of power?
-
Miguel you are going to get me in trouble with talk like that!!! Yes, its true you did that and they took it, but you saw the look on my face as it was... I dont recommend it to anyone except to crazy Floridian truck drivers Thanks, Scott

Sub was on a pallet with a bunch of things that got cleared out at SEMA time. Apparently they put yours and a couple of other boxes that should have been on it together with a small stocking run of Havocs. We will get it out to you ASAP. Sorry for the delay. Thanks, Scott

Glad to hear it... while I know the MTs VERY well, I have the same opinion of the BTLs. They simply do a better job on the daily stuff, especially down low. Keep us all posted. Thanks, Scott

Glad to see that Fi keeps breaking cars Sounds OK though?

I like sealed as well. All of my personal systems are now sealed. Bottom line is you gain output with a ported enclosure and for those that run a pair of 12s and are trying to rule the SPL world, ported is the only way to go... but as you know, especially in FL, daily pounders are sealed and they are dominating things. You need to give me a call as it is so we can talk a little more about the current setup too. Thanks, Scott

Send it to: Fi Car Audio Attn:Recone 5480 Cameron St #107 Las Vegas NV 89118 Please be sure to include a sheet of paper with your name, address, email, phone, and what you want done to it. As far as packing goes, place it as tightly wrapped in a box as possible, then get a larger box, fill the bottom with some peanuts (I hate peanuts) and then place the onner box/sub inside. Then fill the sides and top up and tape off well. Simply dropping a sub in a box full of peanuts does nothing but make the receiving area a mess and breaks your sub (the sub settles to the bottom of the box fast and then punches a hole through...) We will contact you when it arrives. Thanks, Scott

send an email to [email protected] with all of your contact info and we will send you out some to repair it. Thanks, Scott -
lol... We just have lots of little proprietary stuff that allows us to do what we do more efficiently and better than the past. We simply dont want people that know what they are looking at or for to see some of it. As for the magnetizer, its nothing special and far from pretty... but it works great. I have designed a couple of other magnetizers for other companies as well as some different fixtures (one for a company that now makes neo motors for their RC cars). While we talk about what we do and some of the features, we really havent shown much of anything. The subs seem to work as "planned" and we try to keep as low key as possible about lots of the little tech things. Ill see what I can artfully come up with picture wise so that people can see we actually do build something But as tejcurrent mentioned, we are about as far from glamorous as it gets (and I like it that way ) Thanks, Scott

Hmmm... not sure there. What is your name and I can track down everything for you. Thanks, Scott

has Fi started shipping the heli-cool for the BTL yet?
Fi Car Audio replied to eclipsepb25's topic in Fi Products
Be gentle with them...lol Subsonic is key on the high Xmax BTLs. MTs would fling out of the gap with the shorter coil, fully loaded BTLs will keep pushing if not controlled. Keep me posted. -
No tracker since its 2day. Is it a home? USPS should deliver it there if it is an actual address. Unless you have a hold for all mail to go to the PO box then they should leave a tag in the box for it.

I know both are done. Let me check for you tomorrow morning.
