Is it true the Bose headphones(noisecancelling3) are great SQ but the negative sound puts to cancel out waves puts a lot of pressure on the ears to the point of fatigue?

I have heard of ATB. they are alright. I heard only a few tracks though from them, it was "don't stop" and "my dream" (although that one could have been ATC) If you have these albums id be happy to let you use my megaupload account for you to upload them for me. but only select users

it was probally legal. outlaw is done in USACi. probally walled, but in the sense you are thinking of a wall since its bandpass.. i dont think it be 70/80hz cause then its midbass , wheres the fun, and i believe there are cutoff frequencies in the rules iirc.

well, as jim said its not always any easy task to start. test test test is the best thing to do. but if you'll notice most SPL competitors will tune rather high. why? because usually you can give more power to a sub to make it play louder(only for burps) because at a higher response the cone doesnt move as much and wont reach its mechanical limits as fast compared to a low tuned design. my comment seems rather generalized but i hope it helps.

Yep. you wont ever catch me without a belt. call me gay if youd like, but i just think its looks goofy not having a belt. Always Accessorize!

the poly is just a budget driver, right, cause poly is not the best of sounding drivers from what i understand. i wish there was a graph on it...anybody have one? I'd take the Poly's midrange over the MLI's midrange...not quite sure what you mean by it being "just" a budget driver, it sounds pretty nice well i read on DIYMA that poly is not the best choice for a cone material. it will end up sounding muddy on the upper ranges. i could be wrong

No matter what variation he tries to put on it, it's still a 4th order bandpass acoustical filter. When it comes down to it, you really just have different filters: 2nd Order - sealed and IB 4th Order - bass-reflex and the sealed rear chamber bandpass 6th Order - Front and rear ported bandpass 8th Order - Three chamber ported bandpass (typically one or two of the chambers firing into the third chamber) Everything else that isn't a horn or TL is just a variation of those 4, but the characteristics are extremely similar no matter what that variation is. 2nd order is just keeping the back wave separated from front ...correct? 4th order like sup posted 1 is out of phase to keep them from canceling out each other from facing each other?
