So, I go to my 3gupload account which I paid 12 bucks for a year of unlimited downloads and all of a sudden I get this message that says I need to upgrade my account and pay an extra $1.50 for each voice ringtone that I download if I buy it in a big pack. Upon further investigation, I read that they have a deal with Sony/BMG/whatever else where they have to pay them $1 for every CELL PHONE RINGTONE THAT SOMEBODY DOWNLOADS. CELL PHONE RINGTONES! Not some high quality CD media, but a pucking LOW QUALITY 15 SECOND SAMPLE CLIP OF A SONG. What has this country come to? Nothing but corporate greed and capitalism. More the reason to download my music for free. Anybody know of a good ringtone site that doesn't charge crazy prices like this?
