Plus one!

Hmm.. I always start on ground on hu. But noise coming from the speakers with the rcas unattached would mean differently. Any spare channel amp sitting around? Or another car you can test the channel amp in?
-
more power and thermal handling gets louder(How loud all depends). Buy it once and be happy buy small then rebuy not worth the increase for the cash you're forking over.....in less you step into the cone area side of car audio world!!

+1 I agree what ever is cheaper take it!! but least have one year warranty, two or three years would be a no doubt buy! -
sure is but I think Si's blowout sale is a lot better specially if you are near them!! $20 shipping for a 18 DAM )
-
Si has 15's on sale if you're more in the sq department but I could see you blowing that sub easy in a car audio environment NOT nearly as rugged as other drivers.

You sure you wanna start out on a system that big? Looks like you need a little more experience for this gratitude of a build. Do some research and read up on enclosures and please look at fi before..you order they state what is optimal performance.

budget batteries

I owned two kinetic 2400's and one agm extreme under the hood.....voltage regulator popped on me and voltage went from 13volts to 18volts fried all my batteries. Only battery I have left is the agm extreme because oreillys return policy is the bomb!! I would buy locally, warranties do make a world of a difference on a battery. -
they are really good subs specially for "600rms"!!!
-
Prefab ouch missing out on the raw performance of the drivers!

Gotcha well im going spare more room. Anybody have any pair of ssa 15inch drivers that they wanna part with? Not nib!!
-
Been looking into 15" driver's that work really well in small sealed enclosures 2cubes and below. The old power series of Rockford fosgate hx2 caught my attention with the recommended size of 1.25 sealed for a 15(before sub displacement). Is that correct does the driver hit a low enough frequency response in that recommended size of box? Just had the rf,dc lvl3,dayton ho on my list of drivers....Is this worth my time looking at a older style driver?
-
Qts, xmax?
-
What im learning high qts is most important factor for a sealed setup. Guess you cant get fantastic low end from a small sealed enclosure.
-
I was looking at dayton ultimax and ho hardcore. Looks like a good option but im building the box myself. Lot cheaper. I would love a pair of fi q's just cant find a pair priced right used ;((
-
I was using winisd 2.5cubes was the best enclosure it worked in..after that no increase in output. What driver would you recommend for a good flat response in a small sealed box 15?
-
kk I will.

defiantly would get a good battery bank. Good luck, I miss my nendo 3500. -
yeah I know..i looked at the price they had and was like wtf...parts express has the same price on them kind of pissed me off. More of a bs sellout.
-
+1 ..I say remove them all lol!!!!
-
they seem like quality drivers just not a lot of info on them..and most of the topics I read on the Rockford fosgates seem like inexperienced people talking negative or positive.
-
This is going in the wagon..im down grading from the zcons. sedan is still running sa-8's v1 plenty of space 12cubes..to be exact
