what they said. Go read up on home audio forums on this its a crazy subject, -
check out ssa subs. I would look into the SSA icon "10"(For 1000rms) it works great in smaller ported box's it has a higher thermal rating then the gcon then your intended use but it doesn't matter under powering insnt bad thing and doesn't effect output difference
-
is this trunk car or suv..how much space can you give up? cause four 12's takes up a good bit ported.
-
cone area is king...but 2.5cubes after port is great also you'll get the most out of your power!
-

tried it for shits and gigles! doesnt do anything just makes stuff look like sh*t with no effect at all! it peels off too if its hot enough outside that makes it even more fun when it falls apart. -
dam bro i understand i keep ZERO stickers on my car for that apparent reason. Hows that smd volt meter working out. Looks funny i like the stinger one's personally only because i have this obsession with led lights.
-
My vote is on RCA's they will get you every time! specially if the amp isnt secured 100% but it looks clean from the photos. I doubt its a "internal" problem on the amp since he has two other channels working correctly,
-
what's a "Crush old school" amp? i like the OG amps.
-
sh*t i need somebody in sc! NO ONE DOES ANY EVENTS HERE!!!!
-
I tried that and it makes no difference in the output. I would imagine since the amp is a monoblock that the inputs are summed and there won't be a noticeable change like there would be on a stereo amp. I was hopeful going into it, but I'm still where I was before. I have a bad feeling that edouble101 is right and I'm fighting against cabin gain. It's odd considering that on the Charger forums plenty of people have subs in there car and seem to be getting good to great output. And as far as I can tell, not all of the amps are 1000w+ or anything. It's just damn frustrating. i know the problem is fixed but..you should of had less output if you unplugged one rca

New Q 12 barely plays and bottoms out on low volume
Dictator replied to Chris Duncan's topic in Fi Technical
Take the sub out and show us EXACTLY to a T how the sub is wired! from the DRIVER to the AMP! and be very detailed if you would like the best knowledge from some experienced members on the forum.
