I know a lot of people have built their own sub boxes or have had one custom done for their needs. For the people that have built their own. How hard would you say it is? also are there any diy's out there?

Has anyone used these subs? Im currently running two wired at 4 ohm bridged to a 2 Channel Planet Audio 2600.2. Its getting 1800 rms. Can these subs safely be over powered because i know some subs are rated lower than what they can actually take. Also, if anyone has used these subs, have you ever been metered?

I would do the big three,a agm type starting battery and see were your voltage is at.Then add a HO alternator if needed. are there any brands you recommend? -
What do I need to do for the big 3? Do I need to upgrade alternator?

And with the big 3 will it increase power to the amp and fix the light dim issue when subs hit? -
Okay thanks. I'm going to run them series tonight. I didn't remember I 1 ohm the speakers until this morning I just installed the system last night. The amp rms is rated at 1800 rms at 4 ohms bridged so it should still sound as good as right now.

Im running my 2 channel planet audio anarchy 2600.2 amp with 2 pioneer 4 ohm dual voice coil subs TS-3002d4. The subs are wired to 1 ohm and im not sure what the amp reads it as when bridged. I wanna know if i should change the wiring of the subs or if i am safe the way it is. Safe meaning that i will not blow my amp. The amp's gain isnt up too much and the bass knob is about half. The subs sound really good when i play them but i just want to be sure i will not fry the amp. Any suggestions?

Quick question. What is better having 1 big amp for 2 subs or having 1 amp for both subs that match the sub wattage?

I recently purchased a pioneer double din touch screen head unit for my system which works pretty damn good. I have type r coaxial speakers running my interior speakers strapped to a hifonics 400 watt amplifier. For the subs I am running 2 12 inch pioneer pro series subs strapped to an hifionics 2000 watt mono block amp. I am running straight auxiliary inputs from the back of the head unit because i simply use 2 amps. All of a sudden today everything put out nothing but static. I disconnected it because I could not find out what the issue was and this is the second time it has happened. It happened with my previous pioneer head unit which was a single din flip face but I thought it was simply the head unit malfunctioning. If you have any advice to what is wrong or what I should do that will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What are some user reviews of the Digital Designs 2500 15"?

Which would hit harder the 15 w7 or 15 btl?

Im new to sound systems and I 'm looking for a sub that is the cleanest and produces the most bass for under a 1000 dollars. I already have a Hifonics Hf I Monoblock 2000 watts rms amp and would prefer to be able to use that. Open to speakers up to 15 inches.

Is it really recommended for a daily driver not get to get spl rated subs or is it acceptable?
