Soundigital amps
pro-rabbit replied to OuTLaWeD's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
nope my statement stands.... So could you explain the high failure rate and that 99% of all repair companies refuse to repair them do to such a faulty design? I agree they do good power while working, but suggesting they are one of the best out is a huge stretch to say the least. I will say this again. While working they do some very good numbers. However, they have a very high failure rate do to their faulty design and that is also generating an issue with attempting to get them repaired; as those who do still repair them (including us) are unable to offer any type of warranty on any Brazilian based amplifier. -

The issue with them is the inherit flaws in the overall design. They are prone to fail and are about impossible to get repaired anymore(in the states anyway). There are only a few places that still repair them(us being one) and non of them(including us) offer any type of a warranty on the repair do to the design of the amp. When they are working they do typically do around rated power though. Just never know how long it will work. -
OKC OK 2x USACI Show
pro-rabbit replied to pro-rabbit's topic in Competitions & Other Organized SPL/SQ Events
Naw, the next IFO is not until later this year. This is a show that AHO Audio and DC Creations is putting on in conjunction with an existing car show circuit.I believe is called Wago Tours. On a side note, are you still wanting/needing to do that trim setup for your wall? -

Custom designs are included with the pricing. We prefer to use our own designs as we do not design the same way others do, but we will work with outside designs as well if that is required.
-
You...drinking? That would never happen...
-
We get fairly decent rates currently but we have meetings the rest of this week and into next week with FedEx, UPS, and a few smaller freight companies for various shipping needs. Just wanting to try and get the best rates possible as we do no charge for packaging and such..just the actual shipping rate.

Those are more "custom" style quotes do to the nature of those enclosures. Locals are easier because you all don't need shipping lol.

1ft3 is a bit small if you are going ported for two 8s to be honest. Also for the plexi/lexan I would suggest doing a back or side plate to actually see the driver. A front plate can be done, but typically the look is not what most want. The price of plexi depends on the hxw and thickness required as well. Send in a request via our website and we can work out the design and cost that way. It would be much easier and quicker that way.

Well, we have secured a new supplier for our wood. All though the bulk count is higher, the prices are cheaper and we will be passing on those savings to our clients. Yes, this means we are redoing all of our pricing. We will also being doing stages on enclosures so those who don't want/need all the extras we typically include can get cheaper enclosures with out all the extras. We have also picked up a new plastic distributor. So the over all costs of plexi/lexan items will be going down as well. We are currently working on printing www.DC-Creations.com on our enclosures from here on out as well. This will be printed on wrapped enclosures as well as signing the inside with the basic information of the enclosure. We are also working with a few new suppliers for vinyl and other wrapping materials to try and keep those costs down as well. New pricing should be finished and posted up by the end of the week with all of the stages(options) listed and priced as well. Thanks everyone, and check back for the new prices to be posted up.

Your in the "bonus" rounds for discounts already now from the enclosure you have been buying lol.
-
Thanks everyone... We also have some meetings with UPS and FedEx in the next few weeks, so hopefully from there we will be able to lower our shipping rates as well. However, that depends on them and our ability to get a better discount then we are currently getting via UPS.

Here is an idea of what we are looking at for pricing. This has not yet been confirmed and may still be adjusted before we start our new pricing. The basic stage 1 is about $30 off our current pricing with "fully loaded" enclosures costing $15 less then our current pricing. May not sound like a lot to most, but I'm sure this will help a large amount of clients in the end....on to pricing listing... Please remember these ft3 noted is net (after all displacements) not a gross number...so if you need a 4ft3 enclosure you are paying for just that..not paying for the 5-6ft3 it is at gross ft3. NET FT^3...........SEALED........PORTED 1.0 cubes...........$60.............$100 1.5 cubes...........$70............$110 2.0 cubes...........$80............$120 2.5 cubes...........$90............$130 3.0 cubes...........$100...........$140 3.5 cubes ..........$110...........$150 4.0 cubes...........$120...........$160 4.5 cubes...........$130...........$170 5.0 cubes...........$150...........$180 5.5 cubes...........$160...........$200 6.0 cubes...........$170...........$210 STage 1(included) basic carpet terminal rounded port edges(when possible) bracing as needed 45's Up to two sub woofer cut outs Stage 2 $15 extra All of stage 1+ Double Baffle with flush mounting (up to two cut sub woofer cut outs) Kerf Port $15 per Kerf Extra sub Cut outs $5/ea Average size raised logos are $30 (maximum size will be listed when prices go live) Carpet can be customized to your application and will be priced per request Plexi glass will be priced per request Any cutomization can be done per request

Thanks everyone. I have a few meetings today/tomorrow and after that i will be working out the new price list to have posted hopefully around Thursday or Friday. Once I close the deal for our new carpet, vinyl, and other upholstery materials I will post up that as well.

Interest inquiry: Real Carbon Fiber Dust Caps
pro-rabbit replied to Aaron Clinton's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
Love it! If these were in the demo truck..they would have to have the carbon fiber for sure. Any idea since it is just a cap if it will help gain any performance like the composite cones do? -
If that is what he needs to know I can check that.

Outside lip of one flare to the outside lip of the other flare is 18"

IFO in Noble, Oklahoma (USACi dp)
pro-rabbit replied to Ohjay's topic in Competitions & Other Organized SPL/SQ Events
Ohjay, I'm going to PM you my cell. I think we are going to be hosting a hand full of USACi shows this year including a triple around the time of the state fair here and have state champs and such. Just figured I will give you a heads up on some info about it and get your feedback on you and your guys showing up. -
A single 4" port will work just fine. Just build it and try it. As long as you are using an actual flared port you won't have port noise with that setup. More then likely you will be very impressed with the end result.

Not to bad at all. The new enclosure is in the works right now. Sorry about the delay we have do to the weather from last week and weekend. It has set us back more then expected.
