That is like an infraction system. It allows you to view all how close you are getting to having a vacation from this forum.

Lets get this sold $550 shipped

This word "trade"..... it has me lost...
-
You know you want it...lol
-
Naw, sorry. Not looking for any trades.
-
very true

AND they only recommend 8 gauge for the installation of the 2500. I just seen that looking through the info online. Seems like the prices should be about cut in half as well as power ratings.
-
I have not looked into them other that video. But if what you say is true indeed it does seem "off" a bit.

It is funny, but that 600D is pretty small..got me thinking lol And in all fairness, the language barrier is likely a large issue here as well.

Its all good man. I keep a few of these around for the "omg the hydraulic crimper broke" situations. We don't get that often, but we do from time to time...or we are breaking in a new employee and need like 20 or 30 jumpers made....they get to use one of these lol.
-
I guess... But I'd rather take my chances with the hydraulic... lol ... They do work just fine, I'm not sure what you came into this thread trying to do really. I can appreciate the bumps but come on now. I have used a version of these for years before we went to hydraulic and they worked just fine and we have had zero issues ever and we have built 20k rms systems with them with zero failures. Thanks for the bumps though, now lets get this back on topic of selling this and not trying to "bash it" for what ever reasons you happen to have.

Yea, this was one that we had sitting out in the shop. We normally just used hydraulic crimpers now. But these do work great.

As some may know already, we signed a lease on a new location that is much larger recently. We have been working hard to move the wood shop over and setup a few offices. It has been exciting and stressful at the same time. We are keeping the current location as an office setup and allowing the other to be more for the wood shop, packaging, shipping, and local installations. We have been still cranking out enclosures and designs, but do to our current situation we have not been taking any photographs. We have just been working hard to get everything straightened out. I do hope to be back in the swing of pictures and such with in a week or two, but ultimately it will depend on getting all the kinks ironed out in our new database system and running all of this from 2 locations. Thanks everyone for the support and helping us get this far. Do look for some sales coming up real soon as well!!

Yea, the automated message is simply because of the amount of requests we get, it just makes it easier then anything doing it that way. I normally email right back, but it is Amber's(my wife) birthday this weekend so I am a bit...um occupied lol.
-
Wow, sorry to hear that. Normally the venom amps do not have as many issues as the rest of their larger lines. Did you at least get a good deal on it? I hope they get this resolved for you as well.
-
What amp did you end up choosing from Stetsom?
-
Are you still having issues with contacting them?
-
The only time the power comes into to play is you are building a high efficiency enclosure. Those are normally low power setups and can max out the mechanical limits of a driver prior to reaching RMS. Other then that enclosures play a small roll in the power handling of a driver.
-
Brazil more then likely.
-
I was referring to the shop that was listed. Color Creations is about 10 min down the road from us. As for the amp, I would send it where ever you feel the most comfortable. Depending on the size and such, the best bet with Brazilian amps to get them working and then to unload them.
-
That is a local guy here, but we do not use him. Not saying he can not do the job, but we just do not allow him to work on our product or our clients product.
-
I asked our tech to do a write up a little while back for Brazilian designed amps. He said he was working on it, but we keep him pretty busy so he has not gotten any info back to me. I try and push it out of him though. I know it gets asked every time I say anything about it. lol
-
Last I heard dB-r was no longer repairing Brazilian amps. Most places here in the states will no longer repair them actually. Each one has their own reasons to why though. I could be wrong though, I would hit them up to check.
-
Our tech can repair it, but do to their design he said no warranties on Brazilian amps.
