yeah 100 amp alt is not gonna be big enough for around 1700rms, your lights will dim at full tilt.

I think 2 Q15s would be pretty sweet, Id take that over 2 ssds I would think, but Qs are more expensive than ssds which I would understand if you didnt wanna spend that much

x2 You won't go wrong with either company. If you want to run that amp at 1ohm then get the xcon for sure. I think the fully loaded Q is good for like 1200rms in the biggest recommended box and around 1500rms in the smallest box, on average of course. But both will be great SQ drivers. and get loud from what I hear about the xcon

I know some kicker amps ^^ do rated at 2ohms and also some alpine. Hifonics has some cheaper amps not the best amps you can buy but very budget friendly haha.

I don't see the NEED for a neo driver? especially when they preform the same? Just like ford said your not going to find another ssd like sub that is neo. By the looks of it even Fi was disappointed that they couldn't make the neo work. Looks like it was either have everyone calling Fi a rip off for charging btl like prices on the ssd. Or stick to the old magnet and have a sub that will preform pretty much the exact same. If that really makes you steer from Fi then all I can say is your missing out on a GREAT line of woofers, that have a fit in all applications. Fi FTW

I have tried subs up port up and it has been the best for me. but i am limited to the box i have. Yeah I wasn't trying to say that was the best set up because I have no idea haha. Just know that his system slams!! I'm pretty sure it varies from car to car, but I'm no expert. What do you guys think for truck set ups. Currently I have sub forward port to the driver side

Reelbigfish92 on here has his n2 18in sub up port back. I would have to guess only inches away from the hatch. It definitely has some output As far as I know though that is the only way he has tried

I would suggest the 10s over the 8s for sure. My friend has 4 re 10s that don't get lows nearly as low as my q 12, but being sundown I'm sure the 10s would be a great choice. Probably have great SQ as well
