One isnt going to be all around better then another, they are different subs and will do different things in different boxes, you just have to pick one and make it how you want it to sound and play. -

UK gallons are larger than US gallons, that's the sole reason. We don't get super-duper good fuels. 1 Imperial gallon = 4.54609188 liters 1 US gallon = 3.78541178 liters UK gas also cost around twice the price as of what our gallon of gas cost, they give up car size and speed for gas milage more then we do.

Yea didnt you just spend 300 on a pair of solo x's? Iv never seen someone change subs so fast, boy i wish i could try 5 subs a month and still pay the bills -
Wow thats awsome bro im glad to hear they found it. At least your car was still driving when they found it lol when they found my car it was in pieces all parted out.

Id love to see a skar take 4k for more then a second hehe , first time i saw that video i thought i was sold on 4 10" arsenals, and you cant beat the price for what you get Certainly shows their ability to get loud and robustness to withstand that much power. Absolutely
-
you can find the prices here at the store. Here is a link directly to it so you dont have to click store http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/categories/Sub-Woofers/SoundSolutionsAudio/DCON/ If your more into SQ then id say a well built custom ported box or a sealed box would do, Goodluck with your purchase, iv heard great things about those dcons

patience fella's, when i bought my BL back in april or may it took about a month and a half to get to my door, but when it came it was a great day, the longer the wait the more you will appreciate its build quality and performance

i would either go with the arsenals or some sa-12's. Iv heard that the box that comes with those skars is worse then a prefab box you can get at bestbuy. theres a reason for the price tag difference, just depends on what your willing to spend and how much your willing to give up. A pair of sa-12's wouldnt let you down, i got 2 sa-10's and it surprised the shyt out of me how loud and low they get. And the roll-off on these subs is just amazing flattest response subs i have ever heard in my experience. If you were hitting mid 140's with 2 sds which is pretty damn impressive then im sure you wont be dissapointed with some arsenals or sundown sa-12's
-
Yes i didnt get this either, you said you have an l7 in your grand prix and want to switch to 9510's in your first sentence, but your last sentence says you have never heard a l7 and your sig says you have 2 9500's collecting dust, just wanted to make sure what you have and what you want, either way you wont hear much difference in output but i think the mtx's will have a little more clearity

Multiple amp electrical questions
[email protected] replied to gunghoblazes's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
all y boxes have been built my professionals, box i have now for my 2 sa-10's was built by audible customs, didnt say ported doesnt get punchy or any good for metal, i said sealed boxes are going to be better at what they do, yes my ported box gets down on everything but OP stated a specific sound he wants -

So your saying ported boxes are sloppy and bad sounding? Every enclosure I've had a hand in has played Slayer double bass just as well as it did Young Jeezy. And so you know, I don't believe in sealed boxes. Just me. Never once did i say ported boxes are sloppy and sound bad because thats all i use and will ever use also. OP stated he likes it to hit him in the back and likes metal and rock, from my experience sealed boxes punch alot harder and sound very accuate but arnt as loud. You can do the same with ported but there wont be as much punchiness as a sealed. Also just my experience
