Wow! My apologies! I could have sworn I left a response before I went away on business. Terribly sorry for leaving you hanging for almost a month. Yes, those dimensions will definitely work. I just removed my old setup since now all I need for my new system is the box. I snapped a new photo. As you can see, you can even go much, much deeper if you wish. Whatever you think would be best. It's how the trunk is shaped that prevented me from going with a 15" sub. I would have loved to. Hopefully we can get the order going and I can have you paid by Sunday. I'm leaving for Costa Rica on Monday and would like to have everything set in stone before I leave. edit: (the distance between the rise in the trunk beside those wires is exactly 22" all the way down so it should fit nicely)
-
Should be perfect. Ill measure it up again when I get home to make sure.
-
Whatever we can do to make it fit with keeping maximum quality I'm all for. I just want to get this sucker in since I have all my other gear ready. Any additional think is needed I'm all for such as double baffles and whatnot. I'd like ti carpeted as well. You can pretty much go as deep with it as you want like that. edit: I have heard Havocs don't mix well with large ports Thanks!

I can't really wait much longer. Has anyone tried calling his number? -
Actually, since I have the rear mids and the stock sub removed in the back, would it be viable to port up since there are 3 empty spots where they once were?
-
Any update?

Sorry for the miscommunication. Been busy. Here's another shot of the trunk. the distance between the wheel wells is about 21.5" and it goes back much further obviously since my current sub and box are in the way. http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/5224/dsc00761iy.jpg

Definitely, the trunk is somewhat triangular in shape. I'll measure the exact distance between the wells tomorrow morning.
-
Even still, wouldn't there be insufficient room for the sub to move air when facing the trunk? Will I have to position it towards the rear seats?
-
Did a quick measurement with cardboard. http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/4910/dsc00758g.jpg http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/6853/dsc00759x.jpg There's plenty of space concerning height, but as you can see it cuts it very close with the tire wells in that first pic and the box needs to basically be pressed right up against the back of the trunk to fit, leaving no room for the sub to be pushed. Not sure how to go about positioning it...
-
I'll try a cardboard model of it to test it out. Hopefully with the increased width it doesn't interfere with the rise of the trunk from the wheel wells.

After measuring, 17" tall clears by about half an inch so maybe going a tad shorter would be on the safe side.
-
17 tall is damn tall. I'm going to have to measure that and check back with you. It might not fit.
-
Ah, I misread. Thanks
