The alien thing has been just funny to me. I haven't played more than a couple hours. Work is killing me. it opens up a bit when the heists start. if you're not enjoying some of the side mission stick with the main story line. you can also avoid some driving by calling a taxi. I started the first heist already. I am doing the preparations now. What other fruits make for tasty spirits? I'm thinking of making apple cider and applejack first. Can plums work, or too tart? Plums are great in white. Persimmons are commonly used in the SE.

Bought GTA V yesterday. Graphics are better and the world is big, but driving is fucking horrible. Why did they decide to change some of the controlls? And WTF is with the aliens? I don't know... at this point I am pretty disappointed.

I used to love golfing as a teen. But we honestly went out to drink. It is a lot of fun, but I never got good. My cousin is married to a PGA pro (Brad Fritsch). It is in my family (my mother and step father, all 3 of my uncles and my aunt play), but aside from the occasional run to the driving range I don't play anymore.

Sadly you could work for years before being hired. If the money is good, and the job OK, I would stick it out. It sounds to me like you are doing well, and that will help in being hired. My wife has done temp to perm work and it took one company a year before they hired her.

Looks amazing Neal. The color is fantastic. Shit, mine is free for the right person. I'm a cheap whore. I know there is a lot about positive cash flow, but I hope you will listen to some advice. If it is a nice house in a nice neighborhood, don't do it. I have several rentals and I went against my previous boss's advice on my last home. I decided to rent it instead of sell it. It is a nice house in a nice neighborhood in the country. The lot is ~2 acres, a 2 car attached, 4 BR 3 BA house with a large storage building in the best school district within 100 miles. Does it make money when it rents? Hell yes. Does it stay rented? Hell no. I will rent it easily between July and September but if it is a short term it will usually be vacant just after Christmas. Sometimes I get lucky and get mid year job transfers, but it is a 50/50 shot. My longest tenant was a tad over 1 year, but they got out too late for it to rent again. It stood vacant for 8 months. I have lost with regard to rent, but I will hold it until I stand to make good money off it. I bought it a bit high, but it is currently worth just a few grand less than I paid for it. I have found that my renters on it tend to be professionals who are building within the area or looking to buy. They want their kids in the school district they are planning on building/buying in in time for school to start. They want short term leases (3-6 months is easiest to negotiate) and do not stay. Seriously, I strongly suggest against renting a nice house in a nice neighborhood. You will see a shit ton of unrented time with it My houses in the city are in fairly poor areas (I bought the houses for ~$35K on average) and they are always rented. I find people who can afford my rent but little more. They cannot afford to move (coming up with 1st and last months rent + deposit is hard) but they can afford to pay for housing. I look at rental history and job history and weigh them. Long term rentals over a period of time with stable job history (not necessarily a long time at current jobs, but little to no lack of very similar paying employment... in fact semi-frequent job changes is good as a week or 2 without a job here and there wipes out any savings) are fucking winners. The rentals in the city are all paid for. I may just get $4-600 in rent apiece, but it is all profit at this point and incredibly stable income. Plus I outright own several houses, which will kick ass when I am ready to retire to Italy.

IMO droids are easier than an iPhone to access wifi . But honestly both are fairly simple. Like I always tell my son; If you ain't crashing you ain't riding. I'm too old to fall off a crotch rocket.Or to get hit with an invisible wire some fucker strung across his ditch to snag sledders. One of my old coworkers got caught by an unflagged wire on some farmers property. Dialed 911 but couldn't breathe much less talk, raced the 15 min home(thank god he was close) somehow, collapsed in the driveway. EMS was able to intubate in time. He cannot laugh properly, talk properly, and lost 30 pounds from not being able to oxygenate his muscles properly. That is so fucking illegal it is not funny. Some kid locally got snagged like that about 5 years ago and he currently owns several hundred acres of farm land thanks to his attorneys.

800-1200 is the sweet spot for clearance product right now. Gets you much more than normal. Tempurpedics are almost certainly priced out of that, but I'm not 100% sure. 8-1200 is not close to a Tempur. I own a Tempur, and my mother bought one after we did. I spent a lot of time laying in the different Tempurs and found what felt best to me. I went to somewhere near 6 stores just so I could lay on every model. My mother spent more then I did on her Tempur and was extremely unhappy. She traded it in within her 30 days and grabbed the same model I did. She has been happy ever since. FWIW I have found their mid level mattresses to be more comfortable, as they are more firm. The big thing with them is wear thin clothing, and lay on them for a while. 20 minutes is easily what it takes to get the foam to really contour to your body, as it is heat activated. If you get a flat mattress, either buy the Tempur box spring or a platform bed. You cannot use a traditional box as the mattress will sag in time. I'll disagree. Honestly the reaction time required off road and the varying surfaces will prepare you for what may occur on the street, but it will be more prevalent offroad. From gravel to dirt to grass to hard pack you will need to develop an ability to feel the how the bike reacts in different situations. You will get hurt, or at least crash riding offroad, but your reactions become more of a natural reaction rather than something you need to think about.

Unless there is a really strong financial reason I would skip anything that isn't an R6.My first bike was and is a CBR 954. It is nearly perfect. It all depends on why you want a bike though. If you want to have fun, buy a sports bike. If you want a commuter, buy one. You can make an R6 more commuter friendly but making a commuter bike handle better is a god damn bitch. Yeah everyone I've spoken to has been for or against a beginner getting a 600cc bike.. I would really prefer an R6 but not sure. The real trick AS ALWAYS is to buy something you can sell later for the same dough. Fuck any other advice. Bikes are like comfy shoes. If you've never had a pair you don't give a shit about some. Get your first and you realize everything wrong with anything else and rapidly look for a second. You will want a change no matter what you buy. When you buy wrong you can no longer afford to and give up on the process.I usually buy a snowmobile keep it for 2 years and sell it for more than I paid for it even though it has a couple thousand more miles. My worst move was a $400 loss after riding over 5000 miles on one. I've set myself up to fail on my last though. Just dropped some dough on upgrade parts that I'll have to part back out to minimize the $$ loss, but I plan on keeping this one a lot longer. Will become the backup sled at some point. Quoted for truth. I bought wrong on my first bicycle (same concept) Now it may be possible for me to sell at around 50% and buy something lower than the 50% that will better suit my needs. Julian if you're serious about getting a street bike I highly suggest you get a dirt bike first and/or get some riding lessons and track time in. I'd consider it an investment in keeping yourself alive. It's easy to ride a bike, but having the skill-set to avoid others' fuck-ups in traffic is another story. Preach it, brother. Looks fucking amazing, Neal

Bummer. Their consumer Plasmas are really among the best out there right now. The only other plasma I would consider is a Sammy, since Pioneer stopped making their own. I believe LG is making the Pio/Elites at this point. Cool technology, but the prices have to come way down. I was in the market for plasmas way back when they were $12-15K, had to be recharged every few years and professionally installed. I was set on an Elite, but walked into the store and saw the still screen of a fading black background. The separation was fucking horrible. So I bought an Elite RPTV for ~$6K. FF several years to my convergence module in the RPTV taking a shit and I bought a seriously nice Series 5 53" Sammy plasma for $4K. Now you can buy a kick ass 65" Sammy smart plasma for considerably less. Fuck progress...

Fucking love it. I have to get to the Old Mill and grab some. That is an East of here (albeit not by much) phenomenon. Not sure I understand, but of course I've only had the type sold which probably means preserved. WTF is it? It is heaven in a mason jar.

yeah I was just at a local dealer and for less than 100 I could be getting a Fz8.... so not sure, but I do prefer the more upright sitting positon. I do too. I went with a +1.5 stem on my quad and the difference was amazing. That is not a huge difference in seating position, but sitting slightly more upright is far less fatiguing. What kind of saw do you have? What engine? The 4L OHC V6s like to eat timing chains. The V8s are a fucking clusterfuck to work on. Ball joints, transfer case motors, Fuel pump modules, and GEM modules come to mind. Expect the typical DPFE and MAF issues... it is a Ford.

Depends on the suspension. My quad is a race quad with a "fully adjustable" suspension. Spring height, rebound, and compression are all adjustable. But the valving is still terrible. It is supposed to be set up for a 175# rider, but it is still too stiff for my 215#s. The front is actually nice after a ton of playing with it, but the ass end bucks like a motherfucker. If you are hitting whoops you had better be tight with the boots on the engine or you will get tossed over the handlebars. Go too stiff and it will hop and spin in first, and even set soft and low it doesn't get enough dig. On pavement it won't squat enough to grab well either. A good Elka or FOX system will make the ride so much nicer. I am planning on a new shock and linkage this winter. Ha, I had the main orifices nearly doubled in size on the shocks on my sled. Same thing. 16" of shock travel; however, coming off a road approach with 8' of air, an extra 90lbs in gas, my 6'7" frame wearing a tone of clothes, a full tool box and I could manage to compress the shocks about 1/2" with their stock valving. Softened that shit up REAL quick. Still could do 100' triple jumps on it with either no or at least soft bottoming, but the initial few inches now is WAY softer. Actually allows me to click in the ride I want versus running on full soft and crying. I looked at revalves, and I know they are so much nicer than the stock adjustables, but it is still just a 2 way valving adjustment. I like the Elka stage 4s because it is a true 4 way adjustment. FOX Podiums are nice too, but more money for the same adjustability, plus I am forced into buying FOX's linkage for clearance. I like the FOX Evols from what I have read, but I am a bit leery about a springless shock. You can get them used for next to nothing.

My budy has one and it's been pretty great. A lot less than the Porsche I bet. I do know they share some parts though. Audis always seem to require very expensive parts. I just had to do a ballast and bulb on an A4 and it cost the guy right at $900 parts and labor.
