Screenshots will not show much difference. You will see dithering, blur, and most importantly, you will hear a difference. These are typically motion issues, as they will all be 1080P, and obviously audible issues will not resolve with a still

Needs magic pebbles I don't get that shit. I have seen guys with their cables on spiked feet and shit... Seriously? I did one guy's system with spikes on his components... he said "Holy shit, there is no jitter since we put those feet on!!!" Riiiigggghhhttt. Granted, it sounded amazing, but the feet made it sound no different.

FWIW that looks like a Krell mono in that set up. I heard a Krell in Atlanta but have NEVER installed a quarter million dollar amp.
-
That was not the exact set up. I never photograph my customers' systems.

I got to install it with a 90 inch projection unit. I built some cabinets around the screen, but otherwise it was cut and dried. The Tidals are fucking amazing. I have never heard anything like them. http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/tidal/piano.html His were in crotch mahogany like such:

SACD? I love the format, but good luck finding anything in SACD anymore. Surround sound music is dead. FWIW the most amazing music I have is Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon on SACD. By far the most impressive music I have ever heard. But it is still a dead format. If you are inquiring the difference, no offense, but you don't need to sweat the difference between quality video and shit video. Even a mid level Blu Ray is worlds better then a PS# I want Macintosh amps you know I know it won't make a difference. But by God do I want those beautiful sons of bitches. Seriously? Mackys are amazingly smooth. I fucking love an Anthem Statement D2 with some Butlers. Un-fucking-real. One of the nicest 7.1s I have ever heard was a D2, and 4 2250s with Tidal Pianos and a custom IB sub set up.

I appreciate all of your input on the e-cig/vapes. My goal is not really a long term crutch, just a "get over the oral and manual fixation" type deal... and maintain a somewhat low key dabs delivery device. Still researching, and any more input would kick ass.

Since most vapes are customizable there are bowls around for around 12-60$ to thread on to the top of the vape and it will vaporize the dabs, just a quick google search netted a bunch. I don't typically vape normal tobacco taste so no idea, but there are shit tons of options from http://www.mtbakervapor.com/electronic-cigarette-nicotine-juice/ there are just hundreds of options really. so if you like to experiment pick up a few of the smaller bottles and try them all out. I'm particular to fruity tastes because I typically smoke on my hookah more than anything, such as grape, orange mint, and mango. I saw several as well. I like that the Halos offer a mini tank and some juice with no taste. I may try them with the tank and juice for dabs. Hopefully it is soluble in the solution. Thanks Matt and no worries about the name spelling. You should see how many people spell my last name. If it helps sometimes I go by asshole, dickhead, and fuckstick. Are you married to my wife as well?

Well the rechargeable Blu is no where near as strong as the disposable. This is disappointing. I think I will kill the Blu cartomizers off and then step up to the Halos based on recommendations. I like the refillable tanks with no batting. Seems like it would be perfect for dabs. Honestly the dabs thing is one big reason I am hanging on to the cigs. I will not have any obvious paraphernalia around the house, so a typical vaporizer is a no go, and you cannot smoke it in a bowl or 1 hitter. While I may hit on a dab once or twice a month, it is definitely a pleasurable "must have" for me. Do any of you guys who vape drop dabs or anything similar into your vape? Plus I really like the options available. Refilling with the fluids will be exceptionally cost effective as well. What liquids do you like and why? I smoke Marlboro lights personally, but I do occasionally like to snag a pack of Camels as I do like their slightly sweet flavor. With that in mind I was figuring the Turkish Tobacco might suit me best.

I did that with dope. I just decided one day that was it and have never looked back. Interestingly I quit heroin and coke (from crack, to powder) without any real fanfare. I got dope sick, and still jones every now and again, but I never touched it after I made up my mind... and we are talking 12-15 years worth of habit. I have quit cigs for real a couple times. I have gone better than a year twice. But it is everywhere, too easy to get a hold of. I know dope is too, but I have to go out of my way to get it and cigs are everywhere. Another thing is, and it is no secret, I love whiskey. I have a couple drinks every day. Whiskey tastes better with a smoke.

I am beginning the road to quitting smoking again. I have been smoking longer then most here have been alive. So I bought an e-cig last night. It is just a disposable, but I wanted to see how it "smoked". If I smoke it like I smoke a cig, it burns like crazy. My throat got sore as fuck. I take long, deep drags off my cigs, and these things don't afford that. So I have had to shorten my drags, which was relatively simple and took little effort... it just came naturally. Typically I smoke a pack and a half to 2 packs a day. Today I smoked 5 cigarettes. I decided to take the next step and buy the starter pack. This provides me with 2 batteries, a charger "pack" that you charge and keep your batteries charged in at all times and it houses 3 cartridges, 5 smoke cartridges, a USB cable (for charging) and a vehicle adapter. I decided on the "Blu" E-Cigs as they are available nearly everywhere. I know they are not the best, but I don't really care. Negatives about the disposable (still charging the starter pack)... After over 30 years of smoking I have grown accustomed to the feel of one in my hand and parked in the corner of my mouth. The Blu is MUCH heavier, and a lot more slick. So it feels odd in my hand, and working with a smoke parked in my mouth is just not going to happen. The vent hole is located just ahead of the "filter". This is where smokers hold their cigs. So roughly 50% of the time I block the hole and cannot drag on the cig. Positives; No smell. I hate the smell of cigarettes. I smoked roughly 80% less cigarettes on my first day. Other thoughts... Occasionally I like to smoke dabs, or BHO. A very good friend of mine makes it and just gives it to me. I seriously use it very rarely (maybe 2 grams a year), so it is no loss to him. I have found that I can also use the e-cig as a vaporizer for my dabs. I Usually toss a small dab at the end of a cigarette to imbibe. But I will not lose my preferred method if I can make this work. No, I do not use any other drugs, but a dab is pure happiness...

I should hope so, it doesn't start for 8 months... that is one hell of a head start I used to work in Irvine. "The Irvine Garage"; right at the main gate of El Toro MCAS. I understand he sold the building, but last I heard he bought another and is still in business. Frank Virag (I hope I spelled that right) was his name. Good dude to work for. The location kicked ass because we were also a Ryder rental and repair facility. A rental truck business at a main gate of a military base? Yeah, we fuckin' rocked the work.

LOL. Fuck with the bull and you get the horns...

It's always opening day when I pull open the bedroom window.I am jealous of your buddy, as well as you Quentin. I miss helping filling tags, and fresh venison. J Tags? You mean they issue tags? Yep. For both buck and doe. Doe tags are done in a lottery system. J There were also party permits, which allowed 3 more deer for a group of 5. I drew a doe tag every year I was there, so your odds in the lottery are awesome. Oddly, down here you get more doe tags than buck tags. I was blown away, though. I saw the pics of my buddy with his deer and a rifle. I know he hunts near Chautauqua, and it was shotgun only in the Southern Tier, but he said 2 years ago they opened it up to rifle as well. I may have to stop up for a visit next year.

Who the hell dressed in Bills red, white, and blue today? We are laying the wood to the Jets. Welcome to New York, jets... now go back to Jersey with another notch in the "L" column.

Bingo! See what I did there?

We had a killer venison stew at the shop yesterday. One of my coworker's dad got a nice buck on opening day of muzzle loader. His wife makes a killer stew. She also baked some homemade bread to sop up the leftovers. It was spectacular.

Damn. A buddy of mine from back home (Buffalo, NY) got a big buck and a big doe on opening day. I miss NY deer hunting.

I thought you liked it rough.
