I like it. There are better units out there, but you will pay for them. But IMO the eVic offers a ton of control for dabs, and right now nothing offers the feature set to accomplish this like the eVic does. In fact, if you do get the eVic, I can upload the variable wattage package I put together and you can download it to your eVic. In that regard it kicks ass. You can grab a mech like the Nemesis I linked, but your voltage is fixed. It is more for vaping e-liquids. You can grab the Provari, likely one of the best VV mods out there right now, but you are limited to voltage adjustments... and fixed voltage levels at that. In other words, once you set the voltage it is fixed at that voltage until you release the button. While both mods are better then the eVic for vaping liquids, neither will give you that initial boost to liquify the dabs and the ability to dial it down during your hit so you don't burn the coil/wick/dabs during your hit.

It all boils down to wattage (V^2/Ohms). The higher the wattage, the hotter the burn. You can get too hot and burn up the material. I run the 2.4s and generally stick at 5.2 watts. I have found that if I run it hotter that 5.5 I waste my dabs. At 5.2 I get a killer buzz and my dabs go forever. I have run about 1/4 gram over the course of a month (and still have a hefty chunk left in it), and gotten a few buddies baked. But I don't smoke a lot. My device is a variable voltage/ variable wattage device, and it allows me to customize my vape wattage over time. For dabs I have it set to fire initially at 7 watts for ~ 1/2 a second, then ramp it down to 5 watts at 2 seconds and it carries 5 watts until you release the trigger. This allows it to heat up real fast and get cooking, but it mellows out the hit overall, plus it saves on material. It really is the ideal VV/VW device for dabs, IMO. Also, I know a lot of people rave about the iCloud for dabs. Don't waste your money. A good buddy of mine bought one and he hates it. After trying my setup he ordered the exact set up I have the next day. As far as longevity, I have my original coil in it and have been running it for about a month. I just make sure I don't push down on the coil when I load it. Put some on the side of the bowl and trigger the coil. It will heat the bowl and roll the oil into the coil. This starts the wicking process. Then I cram a bunch more on the side of the bowl assembly and cap it off. The coil is delicate, so you need to treat it as such. I sometimes wish I wasn't in the military especially being in California everyone isalways baked Especially in Monterey. I really enjoyed visiting that area. I used to hit it up every couple years when I lived in the SoCal.

The eGo Twist is a variable voltage (VV) version of the eGo. It basically offers a dial on the bottom to adjust your settings. My Halo Triton is similar. It works, but I prefer a variable wattage (VW) device.

Best price I have found for a genuine eVic control head FWIW. Shipping was fast and cheap. I generally favor Vaporkings for my online vape gear, but they were about 20% more expensive on the eVic. I bought my Russian 91% from them (about the only place you can find a real Russian right now). I wish they had the Kayfun Lite Plus, but sadly they don't. I grabbed it from VaporEV but I won't get it for at least 6 weeks. I am going to grab the Nemesis from VaporEV though . My Russian will be here Monday.

For on the cheap you can grab an eGo twist for under $25 http://www.litecigusa.net/joye_ego_c_twist_battery_s/232.htm I actually bought my eVic from them. While the starter kit costs $105 I pieced mine together from them with the black tube kit. I bought the head, battery, tube, and cable for ~$85. I have since bought the short tube and the smaller 18350 battery effectively knocking it down an inch and a half or so. I like the short tube as it definitely makes the eVic much more portable.

Look into the Seego cHit It totally kicks ass. I have been using it for a few weeks. Here it is on my new vaporizer... Sorry for the blur, I wasn't very steady That looks perfect for my needs! I already have the eGo battery. I am thinking of getting the wifey the Dabotg as a complete setup but need one for myself, so i think I will give this a try. Thanks Seth. I am sure I will have more questions as I am interested in a vari-volt setup too. On another note, I see you like stout beers. Have you ever tried Lion Stout? I have not, but ironically a buddy of mine tried some on New Years and he raved about it. We are supposed to get together and have a few next weekend.

I bought a Russian 91% RBA last night. Should arrive by Monday. Between it and the Kayfun Lite Plus I pre-ordered last week I have blown $200 on fucking attys. Now all I need to do is find a Taifun GT and I will be rocking the 3 best attys around. Then I need to stop buying vape gear... Of course, I do need to buy a Nemesis Mod, and possibly a Provari... And then... Who knew quitting cigs would be so costly?

Delcos are the best batteries out there. It has clearly suffered deep discharge issues.

It is supposed to be, but it really isn't. Buy silicone utensils. The nonstick I have claims to be metal utensil safe but I still don't use metal on them. I would not recommend cladded SS to someone unless they are an experienced cook. (I have a SS set also) I have a set of cast iron thats great for cooking proteins too. http://www.anolon.com/shop-anolon.html?Brand=Anolon+Advanced This is the brand I have now. What brand/set did you get? Swiss Diamond. Solid set. My wife scratched up the 10 inch pan with metal spats. We have a set of Oxo silicones but she wouldn't listen.

When I took that I wasn't sure how it would turn out. I was born in Canton Ohio, raised in Niagara Falls/Buffalo NY, lived in The City, San Diego CA, Mission Viejo CA, and Lake Forest CA, and now reside in central NC. I figured as a mutt I would show up in odd places. But I got pinned down to Buffalo NY, Rochester NY, or Milwaukee...

Got an Aspire BDC Glassomer today. It kicks the Kanger Protank 2 and 3's asses all over the place. It knocks your dick into the dirt. A ton of vapor, a ton of throat hit, and amazing flavor. It seems well built, but the drip tip is a cheesy plastic tip. Winner! Tired of popping coils in the PT3. I am getting 2 days out of my coils, tops. I put a brand new one in last night only to have it pop today at lunch. It only lasted for 1/2 a tank. My PT2 is holding up very well, no coil issues at all. I still have the original coil in it. We'll see if it holds up, but it is far and away my best hitter yet. I also have an order in for a genuine Kayfun Lite Plus placed, awaiting stock arrival. I want to try rebuilding coils and they say the Kayfun platform is the RBA right now. It was extremely pricey, but I figure I will only get one RBA so I may as well get the best. I also got the shorty tube and battery (18350) for my eVic. The tube is about 1/2 the size of the stock tube, and now the control head and the shorty tube sit as high as the stock 18650 tube alone. It makes it extremely portable.

And I appreciate that you didn't use your teeth.

That's a non-PI engine. Same as 96-98 GTs. If you get platinums and don't notice a miss or anything, you can get by with 100K or more. I would change them if you haven't yet. Do plug wires as well. Yeah, I think Ford recommends them at 90K but I see platinums go way more than that.
-
That plug is oil-fouled and covered in sludge. It's leaking oil by in a bad way. Looks like a valve stem seal, actually. It appears to be caked and fluffy on one side, which is indicative of that. When it stops firing the oil just saturates the build up.
-
No need to remove the plug. Run an inductive pickup on the plug wire or a low amp inductive in the case of a COP.

I'd actually rather be the guy designing or synthesizing the drugs. My issue is there is so many interesting (overlapping) fields that I don't know what exactly I want to do. Pharmacology or synthesis, virology, neurology, or even being a bench chemist. My cousin's husband is a research chemist. Also, Bobby (spacemonkey) over at CAF is as well. Bobby was doing work with cancer meds. Lots of cool shit.

The tobacco is flavoring, you can get them with nicotine in varying levels or with no nicotine, no alcohol, I make my own hash oil (I can't smoke weed, it makes me paranoid, but I do enjoy an occasional HO buzz). I have tried several flavors. The rootbeer and ecto are very good. Different devices make the juices taste differently. Every aspect has an affect, from the battery, to the control head, to the delivery head... I have played with it quite a bit over the past month and used a shit ton of devices. My next toys will be a mechanical mod (looking at the Nemisis mechanical), and a kick ass rebuildable atty (liking the Kayfun Lite, but I want to be sure before I spend that kind of money). When I get that gear I only really have a box mod left to try. Still learning about those. I love this little box mod... Gorgeous damascus box... I WANT!!!!
-
Oh yeah, got my MtBakerVapor order. Ordered the Ecto Cooler and Rootbeer triple shot.
-
I bought an Innoken iClear30B clearomizer today. The flavor fucking kicks ass. Fuck the PT3. That thing sucks balls.
