    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Clean the throttle body. It is an electric TB, so be careful. Get a toothbrush and some carb cleaner. Remove the air inlet snorkel from the TB. Turn the key on with the engine off. Have someone step on the accelerator pedal and shoot the carb cleaner down the throttle body. Scrub the inside of the bore and as much of the plate as you can with the toothbrush. DO NOT STICK YOUR FINGERS IN IT!!! After a short period of time the throttle plates will close as a failsafe. It will rip your fingers off. Keep cleaning until it looks decent. It is a common issue with electronic throttles. It may run like shit for a while, but give it 10 or 15 minutes, and it will be fine. I'll find the gum cutter, and do this tomorrow at work. Thanks a ton man. What's the story on the juice too? I'm runnin' low. lol It'll be a bit. I expect I should have some good working recipes in about a month. Supplies will be here by early next week, and I will be having to play with sweetness, tartness, and total amount of flavor based on nic levels. I may also do some playing with different atomizers, as I have found flavors to be different between varying types. A cart has a certain profile, a clearo a different profile, a rebuildable tank different yet again, and drippers with single and dual coils are different. I just got a Trident, which is a dual coil dripper, and it is ridiculously tasty. HUGE clouds (the kind that will make a cigar fiend envious) and a ton of flavor. Where I have found my favorite juice right now could use some sweetness in a clearo, it needs nothing in the Trident. In fact, extra sweetener may make it perfumey. So I am trying to decide if I want to do a "happy medium" or if I want to establish different lines for different attys. What flavors and nic levels are you interested in? I generally vape a fruit/menthol blend. Tons of different kinds, but usually somewhat similar. I was considering a dripper/rebuildable, but it seems such a hassle. Probably going to buy a Kanger Aerotank (dual coil for when I feel like high VG), and a simple eVic for easy adjustments. I know there are better battery mods, but the eVic is nice and simple with nice features. I was considering a "cool raspberry", "cool blackberry", "cool strawberry" and "cool blueberry". If you are interested, I will be sure to send some your way. I am going all 50/50 (PG/VG), so options on the PG/VG are not happening right at this moment. I'll send you a couple bottles for the shipping cost just so you can try it and get the word out. I am also doing a couple cotton candy flavors. I'll shoot you a strawberry and blueberry CC if you are interested. I never expected to like the cotton candies but they are amazing. Bubblegums are also forthcoming in various fruits. Let me know if you prefer tart or sweet. Tarts will be more lifelike on the fruits, but sweets will be more candy like. I have the ingredients for both. I will be offering these for ~$.60/mll, where most mid level product is going for $.06-1.00/ml. My distributor may ask for more, but my minimum will be $.60. I can't undercut her by much as she is distributing for me as of this moment. She will be paying me $.40/ml, so her cut is nominal compared to traditional retail. Oh, and FWIW I really like an eVic. I do have one, and play with it a bit. I learned a lot off of it. If you opt for a dripper, you may want a mech. I like my drippers at .9ohms, where an eVic will read "short" and not fire below 1.0 ohms.

I may offer extra flavor shots as an option to address the different profiles, FWIW. But then I will have to add a disclaimer about steeping times to reduce complaints of a perfume flavor.

Seriously? Sweet. Any "chains" that carry it? Pretty sure the O'reilly (hey it is 3min away) near me doesn't have it. Depends on the locale. One O'Reilly carries it here, but the others do not.

If you can find it, use gum cutter: It's hard to find in many places but it is awesome. I can use cheap shit carb cleaner and not get it clean with a whole can. With this stuff you will need just a couple shots.

Yay! 8 inches of snow, several hours of pouring down rain to add a nice layer of ice, and now several more inches of snow on top of it. The south has been crippled like Christopher Reeves at a horse show.

I have tried several purity levels of butane. My best results were from 3X. I found that any more than 3X seemed to strip the chlorophyll and add unwanted flavor from it. It also loaded down my coils. I would love to try CO2 yields. I understand the purity is incredible, and yield rocks. FWIW I understand that if you keep your stripped material and keep it in the freezer (use a few stripped batches to make it worth your while) you will get some additional yield from using the RSO method. I have not tried this, personally, but if you are stripping in large quantities it may be worth trying. Speaking of freezing... I suggest you be sure your batch is dried and frozen before stripping. Freezing it allows for a better yield every time. I have tried the same material and method just to see if it was true, and my yield was ~10-15% greater.

SETH I just searched for a quote from you so that you would see this! So I took my mothers 2.5 2003 Nissan Altima (100k miles) in because it was idling rough and would "chug" while driving. They had it for 3 days and could not get it to replicate the problem. I said fine forget it as my Mom had already bought a new car and she was just going to cut her losses and she was going to sell it. I couldn't pick it up that day and the next day I get a call that they tried to back it out of the garage and it "blew up" it made a loud sound and now it won't start. They said that the 3rd cylinder had low pressure and they didn't want to dig any deeper without permission. They said that it may have "jumped the timing chain" and that it could be an easy fix or that "the engine might need to be replaced". This car has been meticulously maintained by these idiots but I just have a hard time believing that this engine is truly done. Is there anything that you can suggest without having your hands on it? This place seems to be incompetent but they are not trying to charge to fix anything so I do not know what to make of the situation. If you can suggest anything I'd appreciate it. We are basically looking for the best way to get rid of it financially.Basically if it were your car and you couldn't work on it yourself what would you do? We had an offer of $750 for it but it has $500 dollars worth of brand new rubber on it, and the kbb value is about 4.5k in poor condition. Should we attempt to repair and sell it, or should we just sell it as a "mechanics special"? If we try to sell it what should we expect? I completely understand if you can't give a definitive answer, I'm just looking for a ballpark. I'd get the issue looked into by a competent mechanic before selling it. It is doubtful that it is a mechanical issue, by the sounds of things. On a Nissan I would be more inclined to believe an injector failure. Odds are they tried throwing coils and plugs on it and it didn't work. Nissans are notorious for injector issues. I agree with Seth that is more likely something non mechanical, like an injector or bad sensor somewhere sending faulty signals to the ECM. Lazy mechanics don't want anything to do with electrical gremlins. I have repaired and sold many electric gremlin cars that I got for free. Have you retrieved any code's from the ECM? Try resetting the ECM and see if it has any effect. When an ECM is reset it will run in limp (default) mode for X amount of mile's (usaully around 50mi) until the ECM has collected enough data to recalibrate. To reset the ECM disconnect the battery cables and hold the cable ends together. This will discharge any power stored in the ECM and clear all collected data. Make sure to retrieve any codes before discharging. Some code's are false in the sense that they point you in the right direction, but not always the actual sensor. My mother insisted that I should offer you guys something. You both helped us a lot with the Altima and Seth my Mom said that you made it easier for her to sleep tonight knowing that it is probably something simple with the bmw and that alone made me so happy that you responded. If you guys have a favorite place to eat let me know as she and I would like to buy you guys dinner. Thanks again fellas! Honestly that heartfelt thanks is more than enough payment. Tell her I said thanks.

Likely a simple steering angle sensor recalibration is all that is needed. I see it a lot on BMWs after a battery replacement. Too bad you don't live closer. I would flash it for you in under 5 minutes.

Yeah, nevermind the fact that they don't load the masses down with bullshit immunizations and saturate the population with various antibiotics and antiseptic solutions like our civilized culture does. Our culture breeds a lack of antibodies though out overzealous attempts to eradicate the very germs that we used to build our immune systems with. Chicken and our diets are not the issue. It is amazing how much of trouble starts in the gut. Obviously a ton of other BS.Antibacterial soap is perfect. Make it so you never see bacteria, that way when it comes along you get super fucked. Duh. That was kinda my point. We get so sick because of such "advancements", not because of chicken.

Honestly, they were a disappointment. They were pricey in Belize (~$15 for a petit) and downright expensive in Rome (22 Euro for a grande), and IMO not worth 1/2 the price. The cigars in Irvine were ~$12 a pop, and the ones in Key West were only 4 for $15 IIRC. Super cheap, but amazing all the way through.

No, I agree. I have found myself vaping things I would never have imagined, but I can't see the sheer joy of a cigar infused into a PG/VG base. Smoke and bourbon. Can't be replicated yet. :-) I have seen a "top shelf bourbon" vape before... I am just afraid to try it because I am so picky about bourbons.
