Highly doubtful. Never seen anyone blow a hardline before. I see it a lot.
-
They are. But the recall is fucking stupid. I replace blown brake lines from every manufacturer.

AGREED! People come up to my wife and rub her tattoos in public all the time. I'm not gonna ask where she is tattooed

Why sell it BTW? Would doing a 10 dollar bill of sale help like it does with registration taxes? J That rarely works anymore. Now they go with insurance value in most areas.

Not really. They are troublesome with regards to oil leaks and oil consumption, and of course the typical odd annoying VW/Audi pattern failures like PCV, MAF, and other habitual VAG failures. The aforementioned fuel system problems are a pain in the ass. I suggest finding a shop that does good pressurized intake cleaning and having the intake done every 15K or so to prevent carbon buildup on the back side of the intake valves.

Yeah, it is common with all direct injection engines but VW/Audi and Mini seem to be having the biggest problems. VW/Audi also had a lot of problems with the high pressure pumps wiping out camshafts. What questions in particular?

Gotta ask do you work on Toyota as well? J Yep. Why's that, bud?anything I should be aware of on the 2011 Tundra's. I love my truck but am just curious if there is something I should be aware of or looking out for as I aproach 60k in milage? J Not really. I have seen a couple that had the trans oil cooler rupture in the radiator and the coolant floods the tranny. It will destroy a trans, but while it does happen it is rare, so I wouldn't worry terribly. I only mention it because I don't know that I have seen it on anything but Toyota trucks. Just maintain it and it will be a great truck. Aside from their PITA tire pressure monitor issues they are pretty solid with no really common shortcomings.

Gotta ask do you work on Toyota as well? J Yep. Why's that, bud? Seth do you think the newer ones made here are getting shitty? I tried to like the new gen 4runners but just cant, for some reason it feels and drives like junk. I think that is more of a byproduct of the direction Toyota is going in. They seem to be focusing on, and refining hybrid and electric platforms. The hybrid Highlanders, Prius, Camarys, etc are really grabbing the brunt of the R&D. If hybrid is the way of the future, watch out for Toyota.

Sorry to rain on your parade, bud, but I would own a Ford Escort, Windstar, or even a Pinto before I would own a Mini.

You don't want one. We work on a lot of Minis... tons of problems, many major problems. The Mini S is a huge timing chain eater, and all Minis like to swallow oil. BIG fuckin problems. The stupidest shit is their oil traps in the VCs fuck up causing odd misfires. Valve cover needs to be replaced to fix it... just fuckin' stupid... Lots of direct injection issues on them too, carbon buildup causing misfires and wiping out chains... We had one lady who had 4 chains replaced in 3 years at the dealer and they never cleaned the carbon problems that were wiping out the chains. They ride like shit, too. I would rather drive a Smart car (and yes, we work on those pieces of shit too... MB will not cover warranty on Charcoal canisters, which is the law, as I have had to replace 3 on cars with under 30K).

Now they're all confused.

I don't feel that anyone should be told they have to do anything by the government with regards to how they run their business. It should be the right of the company, and it's owners to make decisions based on what they feel is best for their business model. The civil rights act was an important milestone, however extensions of the act seem intrusive to me. I do believe in equality, and I do believe that the moral culture of the country has evolved enough that the general populous will do what is right. If not because of moral convictions, then because it is more economically beneficial to the company to maintain the appearance of equality. Do you think that if Starbucks were to go all white American they would stay in business, or at least remain a financially viable corporation? Do you think that if they decided to hire all whites, yet serve minorities with "non-white" bathrooms out back that they would remain a "coffee powerhouse"? I personally would not frequent, or in any way indulge a company that chose to discriminate. I think that the vast majority of Americans feel the same. So do we really have to implement more laws, and more regulations that cost the taxpayers and companies more money? Think of how much better this country would fair (economically) if this money, time, effort, and red tape did not exist. I find it ironic that you feel that your beliefs and habits make you holier than me though. I appreciate the personal dig. That is, of course, key to a good debate. Grow up. Thankfully I don't give a shit about your selfish opinions of others or myself. I am, however, forced to chuckle at the irony of your discriminatory attitude of others while trying to defend personal and civil rights.

IMO this whole religious freedom thing is out of control and bullshit. Your made up ideology should ALWAYS take a back seat to someone else's right to not be discriminated against BECAUSE OF your made up ideology. I need to pull an L Ron Hubbard and make up my own religion so I can get all sorts of special treatment. Turn my house into our worship center so I don't have to pay property tax, etc You may not like people hiding behind their religion, so how about just calling it their moral convictions? Does that change your opinion, or do you still feel that the government has a right to tell a business owner they HAVE to provide healthcare? IMO if someone owns a business they should be able to do whatever the fuck they want to. If I don't want to hire a Jew, or a woman, or a short person then who is to say that I should have to? If I don't want to serve someone because they are gay, then who's right is it to say that I have to? It is MY investment, MY time, MY love, MY vision that built the business. The owner of the business should be able to dictate the practices enforced within the realm of that business. If people don't like it they can just visit another establishment. I fucking hate big, liberal government.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-CREE-LED-Lenser-V6-7730-110LM-Stainless-Steel-Power-Chip-flashlight-torch-/390876798171?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5b02129cdb They made 2 types that year, a 3LED and single LED unit. The single LED unit uses an amazing lens that made it kick ass for several times the $. I think this is the single LED. The construction of the body is incredible. Grab it, you won't be sorry

Next time I am thinking I want to watch porn. That would be amazing.

walked on the DMT side again today. Took a deeper journey, but was prepared for what it had to offer. It was not as compartmentalized, it was very open and vivid. Watching the pandora screensaver, speakers moving, and my fireplace exploding into amazing shapes was incredible. Every time the speakers moved I could see odd shapes (almost round) radiating out from them, like sound waves. Depth is like 6D, there is no way to describe the depth of space, and the way colors can be so vivid. The woodgrain on the speakers danced and looked at me. Everything came by in waves... sound, sight... I had a hard time breathing for a bit, and got a bit paranoid for just a short period of time. Strangling or drowning is my biggest fear, and feeling pressed for time (my wife and youngest kid were supposed to be home ~30 minutes ago, just 20 minutes before my journey) likely added to it. I knew I wanted to do it right when I did, so maybe I was more open to it, but I cannot see anyone having a bad trip on this. It is different than bomb, peyote, or shrooms. It is far more powerful, but tends to be completely visual, where other hallucinogens are mental too. I felt like everything was in the room this time... walls, ceiling, floor, where before every boundary seemed absent. There was no darkness or void like I felt before. It was not as spiritual, or completely open (ie no boundaries; walls, ceiling, floors existed last time) as before. Time was more condensed then before, but felt distorted. I peaked really fast, and got hit like a hammer. I didn't even breathe my first drag out before I heard that "buzz saw" sound, and after my third hit I was peaking really hard. It was less than 2 minutes and everything was "there". I made a concerted effort to keep my eyes open, as I have heard that is where you get mental as well as visual. I felt them drift closed a few times, and forced myself to open them. I tried to walk, but had to sit down. My legs felt like jello, but I wanted to experience every possible feeling. This is, by far, the most amazing feeling I have experienced. I am hoping to grab some more, as I am now out of it. My first journey was just a tiny bit, but this time I hit 4X as much. It was geometrically more visual, but with regards to an all around visual/spiritual journey, it was not. Even 45 minutes after starting to return, I feel great. I am still seeing little trails, but my mind feels open and relaxed, just like the first time. The ability to embrace reality, and enjoy it after the trip is amazing.

How much is he asking for it? I glanced around but couldn't find it. That place just makes me ill.

Yeah, while I might like to be in Barbara Ann's trunk, I don't want Barbara Ann in my trunk.
