Sakos are gorgeous actions. Tikka uses them. The Tikka stocks are very utilitarian, though. Not a fan of tactical rifles, personally. Most everyone I know is, but I am old school. I love a traditional hardwood stock bolt action rifle... Of course, I also prefer a revolver. So yeah, I am weird like that. Honestly with my 22-250, the only things I might change would be the recoil lug and the trigger group, although I have no real qualms with either, and being a low recoil rifle I will never have to worry about the lug distorting. Everything I had read about the rifle really didn't prepare me for it being so damn nice. While I am not a fan of laminate stocks I am surprised by it's strength, heft, and beauty. Perhaps some day I'll look for a nice burl beaver stock for it, but the stock must stay the same, as it's form is perfect IMO... I may have the bolt fluted, but that is really more vanity than utility. Not sure what I am going with for the 6.5-284 though. Tikka and Savage are in the running. I do like my .270 WSM Tikka T3 Hunter, and I am enamored with the model 12 VLP DBM... but there is no real equivalent for a larger caliber long range rifle offered by Savage that will not require any work. Of course, I can get into a good Savage action and do my upgrades for less than I have into the 22-250. So I am weighing it all out.

You break more shit on your shit. I could use you as a customer... that way I could retire by mid 2015!

So Matt! What bolt action? I am thinking about grabbing a 6.5-284. Likely a Savage action. Ballistics are retarded, and I want to reach out to 1000 yards. There is sooo much load data on this round that achieving a load that works with my rifle should be quick and simple. I grabbed the 22-250 this summer for next year varmint "season". I was surprised by a Coyote hunt this fall, and went out completely unprepared. I had close range dialed in, but did not play with the scope enough to be comfortable/accurate with it beyond 150. Unfortunately we were a few hundred yards out and it took me a few misses to get close, and I don't like bouncing those 3500 FPS rockets off the ground. That is way to much speed and energy to be flying away wildly. I need to spend more time at the range. Love the Vortex Viper (6.5-24X50) optics. The low light collection is sweet, and honestly the clarity is stunning. I actually went down yesterday and ordered my son a Savage .243 Model 10 for Christmas. I am thinking I am going to upgrade the scope for him. I may grab a Ziess Conquest (6-20X50), and another Viper of the same ilk, compare the 2, and keep whichever I want for the new 6.5-284.

Soooo.... buy one? Seth help me find a GNX motor or for a T-type I will need the wiring harness and comp. It's just a traditional GN motor. You will never get a ceramic GNX turbo though.

Presents are stupid. The kids get some of course, but outside of that fuck it. Of course I guess I buy Christmas dinner which usually tips out over $1000. That hurts, but at the same time I like doing it for everyone. $1000 at a Chinese restaurant? Must be big family. I might be the only other one that knows where that comes from. I figured haha. Oh come on... Everyone has had Chinese chicken... It smiles at you.

Wow... Just, wow.

I've seen 3 sizes. They are generally related to the crimp connection's wire gauge receptacle.

If non-insul crimps are available, simply crimp, solder, then heat shrink. I have taken to using non-insul butt connectors/solder/shrink for all inline repair. If all you can get are insul crimps, just use a small sharp knife to remove the insul. I like this "overkill" method. Do I assume you tin, crimp and then just solder over the whole crimped area? Fastenal here carries some heat shrink tube with epoxy on the inside that is pretty darn tough stuff. I love the weatherproof shrink. That is something I horde

Depends. If I am using my iron, yes. But my gun is really stout, so I usually just heat one end of the crimp and pull the solder through the other end of the crimp. I use hemostats for sinks when I can't afford a run.

I just want the connectors, the wire is in place. Trying to avoid extra splices since any and all connections on my sled I expect to fail. https://www.google.com/search?q=bullet+connectors&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&channel=fflb#q=bullet+connectors&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=fflb&tbm=shop

Refs fist bump after Broncos score?

He does well protecting the ball, but his accuracy sucks. His field awareness is suspect. Sliding 2 yards before a first when he could have stuck his neck out and extended the drive... I don't get it. He isn't a pretty guy, so take some fucking knocks to win the game. Finally, clock management... what the fuck was with the lack of enthusiasm to get to the line in the last 5 minutes? Our defense looks great. They really held Manning in check. While Sammy still does show some of the rookie lack of awareness, he is solid.Chandler, Hogan, Freddy... not much needs to be said about those guys. We have so much talent on both sides of the ball, but they do fuck all with a shitty QB
