True that. If you like really good international cuisine you can't beat the homeland for it. Mexican food in Mexico is so different from mexican food anywhere else. The flavors are incredible. Italy, Greece, and Israel were the same. You just can't touch the food anywhere but where it originated.

Glow plugs... I really need to fix them . Plus the diesel gels easily in the cold. I use biofuel. Yeah, eating in Europe is a killer. Thanks to the VAT tax it is easy to spend $50 on breakfast alone. Hell, at McDonalds (I have kids so shoot me) in Rome was outrageous. 12 euro (~$15) for a Big Mac meal. Plus, be ready to pay for catchup... IIRC it was .25 euro a package. It isn't like our catchup either, there is no vinegar or garlic, it is just tomato. I bet we spent 2 grand for food for the week.

West Coast Mexico? We stayed at huatulco mexico when Club Med was there. The sunsets are awesome. Lots to do. But we looked at Club Med, because we wanted to go back there, and apparently they are no longer there. The waters in the Caribbean are amazing. Cozumel had the prettiest blue water you ever saw. I have some shots from the catamaran we went on while we were there... I have never seen such blue water. It almost looked like it had been dyed blue. But Belize was kinda murky, so I guess it depends where you go to.

Can be said about ANY outdoor appliance. I learned the hard way on leaf blowers. Bought a cheap homelite backpack at HD. It didn't blow shit and broke in 2 years. Then I bought the biggest Echo they carry. It didn't blow shit so I sold it. Now up to $525 in Leafblowers that I then sold for $125 - net cost $400. Then I found a real dealer and bought a Shindaiwa. Holy fuck, I can "shovel" with it. Thing rocks. $450 more but considering I wasted that figuring out the rest were shit it was a lesson learned. Something to be said about a real powersports yard dealer for tools. True that. I have mostly Stihl gear bought at a real Stihl dealer. I have been the Lowes/HD route with weedeaters, chainsaws, etc. I don't waste my time or money anymore. Another thing is, look at the listed EPA/CARB times on the units. Each small motor must be EPA certified and have a listed figure. The figure let's you know how many hours the motor will run and stay within the EPA/CARB emissions guidelines. The motor should far outlast that figure, but it gives you a decent idea of how well built the motor actually is. Another consideration is a repair shop. Sometimes you can go and find a good deal on an item the owner bought and didn't pay for after the repair. Generally you can get the item for the repair cost plus a few bucks so the shop can get it's money back. I needed a lightweight chainsaw to get some high limbs in a tree as the old farmboss was just too heavy to get up the tree. I bought a little POS Poulan for $20 from the shop near me. It has been a few years and it still runs great.

I have heard good things. I'm most likely to buy used and I haven't seen too many on the market but knowing they last helps. My big tractor is a Kubota. It kicks @ss, but being a diesel it plays hell to start in freezing weather. My rider for the main house lot is an old Wheel Horse circa 1982 when Wheelhorse was it's own entity. 52 inch deck, 18 HP V-twin Briggs, hydrostatic trans (with hydraulic lift). It ain't pretty but it is built like a brick shithouse, and aside from replacing starter gears (they shatter in the freezing cold) deck wheels, belts, blades, normal maintenance stuff I have never had an issue. I have a 4 foot plow blade for it and tire chains and it will clear the driveway in a heartbeat. It was my Grandfather's and he bought it brand new. He gave it to me when I bought my first house many years ago. Toro bought them in the 90s though, so I am not sure they are of the same quality. As was mentioned, steer clear of the Home Depot/Lowes mower lines. Most are farmed out POS MTDs. Even the John Deere's are MTD crap with a green paint job. Look at real mower dealers if you want a mower that will give you a decade or more of good service.

Yeah, we ate at the Tropicana and did a show there. The outside doesn't look all that hot, but it was a decent joint and the slots were loose. My wife won quite a bit there on the bandits. The tables were not so kind to me there though. Excaliber TOK is cool too. I love medieval shows and festivals though. We liked breakfast at the Luxor too. I thought I read that the Stratosphere closed the rides . We did the coaster and free fall, definitely cool. We haven't been in years, though so i don't know. The wife wants to go back again, and with my youngest son (the only one still at home) visiting my sister for a week in August we may go for a weekend while he is gone. Hooters is overrated everywhere. The best one I went to was in San Antonio on the river walk, but that was about 20 years ago.

My wife and I have done some traveling. We have done Greece, England, Spain, Israel, Italy, the Caribbean, Mexico, Belize, Canada, and been all over the US. So far our favorite destination was Rome, and I don't mean by just a little, it was intoxicating. But it can be expensive. The street vendors can be really annoying, but the city, and it's sights, are truly impressive. Florence is also quite nice, you can do Tuscnay and visit Florence, Pisa, and Lucca. It will give you the culture in Florence, the lifestyls and countryside in Lucca, and since Pisa is just a few miles from Lucca, it is cool to see the Tower and Duomo. We also plan on getting to Ireland and Scotland. If you don't mind a tour group, I know some people who did CEI Tours in Ireland/Scotland and loved the tour. We did a tour in Israel and are glad we did, but for the most part we steer clear of them. But if we do Ireland/Scotland we will likely go with CEI.

Damn... ordering a new couch from La-Z-Boy this weekend. That means I have to do some reorganizing of the home system, and moving of said monster across the living room. My speakers are too damn heavy (right around 125 pounds apiece) and on spikes... Not easy to move across wood floors. On a positive note, I think I will leave the sub on the same wall as it is behind the new couch. I will have to dial it back a bit, I am sure... Now I have a real reason to do that IB setup I have been putting off for years.

Why not just use a light bar then, it'll work WAY better. Yeah, but will it get you laid?

Time to put on the pants, Nem. Do you know why my wife has small feet? So she can stand close to the sink. Do you know why she wore white at our wedding? I wanted the dishwasher to match the fridge. That is a good thing. I was going to buy or build one, but she bought me one instead. Oh OK... All is good then. I work with a bunch of pussy whipped fools. I just don't get that. I never understood guys that were henpecked... it seems that their sons become queer. I am the man of my house, and my wife knows it.

A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE OF THE KIND OF REPRESENTATION WE HAVE IN CONGRESS, TRUE STORY: A noted psychiatrist was a guest speaker at an academic function where Nancy Pelosi happened to appear. Ms Pelosi took the opportunity to schmooze the good doctor a bit and asked him a question with which he was most at ease. 'Would you mind telling me, Doctor,' she asked, 'how you detect a mental deficiency in somebody who appears completely normal?' 'Nothing is easier,' he replied. 'You ask a simple question which anyone should answer with no trouble. If the person hesitates, that puts you on the track..' 'What sort of question?' asked Pelosi. Well, you might ask, 'Captain Cook made three trips around the world and died during one of them. Which one?'' Pelosi thought a moment, and then said with a nervous laugh, 'You wouldn't happen to have another example would you? I must confess I don't know much about history.'

That gives me a great idea... I am going to make a helmet that looks like and smells like a vagina. I will call it "The Man Pleaser". Instruction manual: Insert head into vagina...

Unfortunately we got really hot really fast. No spring here, just winter to summer. Same here... Wake up one morning and bam ! high of 75-80 degrees. I would kill for 80. We are right at 90 and the atmosphere is dripping wet. So far, the highest we got was 88. Sanding today in 80 was fun. I don't know why, but every time i glance at your av I see a tone arm from a turntable. Weird...

Gotta love how today's educational institutes teach freedom of choice, and how NOT to strong arm people like the current White House does.
