You miss them out of nostalgia. Absolutely terrible just like all the others listed. That is entirely possible. I am also a lot more sober now than I was then, so I'll buy that.

    If you don't like In-n-Out you won't like Five guys. I miss a double-double w grilled onions. I haven't had one in 12 years.

depends on your definition of "good" food I suppose It honestly doesn't take a lot to make me happy, food wise. Culver's, Five Guys, SmashBurger, and Fuddrucker's are prime examples. Five Guys really didn't impress me much. I was stoked when they showed up here. I went there and tried it and have never been back. Meh... In-n-Out is where it's at. I sure wish they would come here. That is the biggest thing I miss about SoCal...

By the way by strong I didn't mean by proof. Heck I really didn't mean strong most likely. I meant something with a distinct and unique flavor, which I associate with "stronger" bourbons and whiskey. I love whiskey. I drink a ton of it. There are so many distinctive flavors it is hard to say what one may like. If you really want a complex, full bodied whiskey I suggest an Irish. On the cheap (but good) I like Jameson at ~$35. If you want to step it up, Redbrest is very complex and smooth, and roughly $50. It is one of my favorite everyday Irish whiskeys. Now, my favorite Irish is Jameson Limited Reserve 18 Year Single Pot Still. It is a very smooth, very tasty Irish at ~$100. But in all honesty I have been drinking a Kentucky Burboun quite a bit lately. WHile I am generally not a huge fan of the oaky Kentuckys I was turned on to Woodford Reserve about 5 months ago by a friend. It is fucking beautiful. At $35 it is absolutely georgeous. I went ahead for a goof and tried the Woodford Reserve Double Oaked at $50, and I have not turned back. I drink a couple fifths of this a week. I love this drink. Very, very smooth. Complex but not cloying. Slightly caky aftertaste. Very nice. I drop 2 cubes in a glass and sip on it all night. will post up a double oaked tonight. I don't mix. Drink with either a splash of water or a couple cubes to crack the spirit as you are supposed to. I drink whiskey to enjoy it.

Sounds like it. We have been seeing a lot of Fords that are tearing the splines out of the torque converter as well. If it is whining you could have a clogged trans filter. Glad to hear from you. Hope all is well. Indeed, sir. Hope all is well with you.

What are you recording and what time interval and how is the data stored? I record engine speed and any other basic parameter you can think of. I plan on only testing the engine speed and calling it good enough. The data is recorded every second, but I'm looking to show that the way the engines run average out to be the "same" overall. I plan on only testing the engine speed and calling it good enough. The data is recorded every second, but I'm looking to show that the way the engines run average out to be the "same" overall. So you want to compare RPM over time? https://www.dropbox....0comparison.jpg The left is the engine speed distribution of a single vehicle in my study. the right is the distribution of all the engine speeds for all the vehicles. I want to compare the distribution to say that it is statistically similar so studying the overall distribution instead of studying 7 individual vehicles will produce the same results with less work. What is the goal of this? I can record and upload several live data parameters of any cars you might be interested in. I could provide live data feeds, or screen shots that include graphed parameters if you can't get live feeds. Any recorded information by the ECU I can provide. My new scanner is really a serious piece of equipment.

Hey TOPGUN... Torque/angle wrench Here you can see the screen, buttons, and if you look on the top and bottom of the LCD screen you can see the rows of lights that go from green to yellow to red.

Yeah. It has an LCD screen and 2 rows of LED lights (ranging from green/yellow/red) that you can set for whatever you need. You can do US/metric and torque angle. You can even ratchet it back in tight spots. So if you have a 90 degree turn and say 50 degrees of movement you can turn it part way, ratchet it back, and it will calculate and allow you to finish the sweep. Quite pricy, but with today's torque to yeild bolts it is almost a requirement. Looks a lot like this unit:

Mine too, but the money was burning a hole in my pocket. Nice! That is badass, and must have cost a pretty penny. Or 2. I LOVE new tools!!! Me too. I bought a killer digital torque/angle wrench last week as well. It worked out perfectly as I got to do heads on a 3.4 Chevy motor the same day I got it. I got to use both the torque and angle sections of the wrench Most shops have one, but usually they are entry level tools, like the OTC Genesis, Mac Mentor, or Snap-On Solus. They cost 1/3-1/5 what I paid for this unit, but they also do 1/25th of what mine does.

New toy alert!!! Snap-On Verus Wireless Scan tool. I bought this with complete coverage. US, Asian, and Euro OBDI and OBDII coverage, J-2534 flash programming with a built in 4 channel scope and a Snap-On Shopkey5 information system (think Online Mitchel Manual). Pretty much the most badass scanner available.
