How in the fuck does one crack a rotor removing pads? I have been doing this for almost a decade longer than Stefan has been alive and I have never cracked a rotor removing pads... I have cracked rotors trying to beat them off a frozen spindle, and even had to cut Ford rotors off with a torch (horrible design), but just removing pads? You just had to throw that in there--Asshole. Well, I never did crack a rotor /> I have just knocked the caliper off with a mallet. Perhaps I should have changed them before they got that worn. A few mm lip on both sides and big pads and pistons and there is a little pressure. LOL, settle down Sean. Seriously that little chip would have made no difference. It wasn't even enough to cause a balance issue. And believe me, the hydraulic pressure in a brake system would be plenty to get that car to stop. There is a huge amount of pressure in that system.

Sears had the diehard platinums which were made by Delco. Delco used to make a Platinum Professional that was the same battery. I used one in my Grand National as a second battery. It was a seriously solid battery. Delco stopped making the Platinum Pro, but Sears was still using that battery 3 years ago. It was pricy but had a 4 or 5 year free replacement warranty with a 7 year pro-rate. Worth the money. My Delco lasted 8 years, and was still decent when I parked the Buick.

In particular when you need 3+ every other year, cheaper is better. Had yellow tops that didn't last as long btw. Not surprising. The Spira-Cells in yellow tops are known for shorting. The design is weak with regards to durability. The separators in flat plates makes them far more durable.

I like the one where Hitler freaks out because Terrel Owens is picked up by the Bills. J will love this one so I'll have to post it... Great video to end my first night home with. J Fuckin sweet bro. Welcome home

Discuss, complain, etc. Need sleep. I have said that GM is far better than most foreign cars with regards to failure and repair. Hyundai has really stepped it up over the past 5 years, so I am not surprised. Chrysler surprises me. I see a lot of pattern failures, but the cost of said failure items is relatively low. A Chrysler electronic EGR vale is about $60, a GM about $150-175, and the newer Ford units are over 2 bills. So I guess I can buy that. When it comes to audio it is always best to use the same ground wherever possible. Varying resistance paths can create ground loops. Redundancy is fine, but I try to keep the grounds the same.

Even my wife heard a difference between .wav and 320 MP3. Her way of putting it was that it sounded lifeless.

This one? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110413/

Came out in 1994. Or you talking about the ford parts? OK... Weak IMDB app!!!

I may. The 1981 version of the 2003 version?

I know it exists, but beyond that, nope. Count me in the nope column.

It is such a common problem. It is just one of the reasons I recommend against buying Ford modulars.

Common problem. Pull the coil off the plug and spray compressed air in the hole. It will take forever for coolant to evaporate. Unfortunately, it there is carbon tracking caused by the coolant, or if corrosion developed on the coil where the electrode attaches to it, you will never get rid of the miss without a new plug and coil on that hole.

I like the Samsung tablet. FWIW you can get a 32gb SD card for less than $50.

The union system is just as corrupted as the entire corporate system. To solely base your issues on the union workforce is a joke. There are many places that still need union support, hell I work for one, but ultimately, mismanagement is what leads to failure. There was a time when unions were needed, but that day has long since past. We can thank unions for driving up the costs of so many items we use today, and we can also thank them for the financial ruin they are leaving state and local governments in... Their demands for astronomical wages either destroy a company financially, or drive up the costs of the finished product so high that American companies cannot compete with foreign companies unless they move production to foreign countries. Seriously, a broom pusher at a GM plant deserves a $20 an hour wage, plus an additional $10-5 an hour worth of benefits from paid sick days, paid holidays, paid vacation, various insurance benefits (health, dental, life, disability, etc.), pension plans, and various other benefits that many skilled laborers will never enjoy? The car buyer pays for it, and when the company goes into financial collapse you, John Q Taxpayer, foots the bill. Go buy food in the union ridden grocery stores in SoCal. You will pay $6.99 for a Stoufers Macaroni and cheese at Ralphs... Go to WalMart (a non-union shop) and you will pay $1.99. Raphs stores constantly suffer from strikes, every 3 or 4 years, WalMart plugs right along unfazed. Look at public sector unions, and the financial impact they have on local and state economies. Wages for Public sector union employees is almost 35% higher then their non-union counterparts. Their pension plans are crippling the local and state economies. Look throughout California where cities are having to file bankruptcy and resend their charters as cities because they simply cannot keep up with labor union demands, which not only includes pensions, but the high wages and tremendous vacation days offered to the employees. Want to see another labor union catastrophe? What is destroying the postal service? You guessed it... huge wages, huge vacation and holiday offerings, massive pension plans, and Cadillac health care plans. Guess how these benefits packages that crippled such a huge company were devised? Collective bargaining, or what you might call, Labor Unions. Sure, you can argue that the businesses should be able to generate the income to cover these costs. Just look at how much more these items cost us to buy, they must be making the money! No, these are being used simply to pay the highest business taxes in the world, the highest wages in the world, the richest benefits packages in the world, and retirement packages that are unfathomable to the rest of the world. All of these (except the business taxes) are negotiated by labor unions.

80 in my bass boat was an order of magnitude more frightening than a buck-ten on snow Hell yeah. My grandparents had sleds and they are so stable it is crazy. Compared to dirt bike and quads they are like riding on rails.

Unions are awesome! Wait... So are you one of the drinkers of their Kool-Aid? I don't see how they really can place this solely on the Union. Seriously?

Dick that small? It's a fucking forum on the internet. As for not knowing you, you are very simple and easy to read. You may think you are deceiving us in how you type, but the only one you are deceiving is yourself. Darker side, rofl. Eye of the beholder. You are only seeing what you want to see. Just another way to deceive yourself to promote what you think you need for you. One of your character traits. We've seen it over and over and over and over. Pot calling the kettle black is never a very good argument. In particular when it isn't at all the case. Do everyday and try to do it even more. It's called learning. You should try it once. Or the music counts. Or both. Or in the case of the shit you normally post, neither. When you spam follow the fucking HOP etiquette and mark the beginning and end of your nonsense like we all do We'd all love to, but the nonsensical bullshit and shitty music don't make that easy. Why not try to explain why it's chill instead of puking random shit. So why the fuck are you all up tight about it now. Perhaps you need to ChiLL yourself. Hahaha! Ouch.

And without a zener it'll surely back feed. I realize somehow I am making this impossible for you to help....but it ISN'T on purpose, lol. Take an AC feed that is regulated to 12v AC. Run it into two things: 1) Rectifier 2) 2 wire LED Tail Light & Brake Light Take output of the Rectifier (through brake handle) and connect it to: 2) 2 wire LED Tail Light & Brake Light Idea is that the LED works as a diode (half bridge rectifier) and runs at 12/2=6v (peak) * .7 (RMS) = 4.2V DC for a Running light When you apply brake lever, it kicks the 12v DC onto the same line as the half bridge rectified AC. Providing another 12v DC to the line making the light brighter as a brake light than a tail light. My concern is that the AC output that is going to the tail light will back feed into the rectifier since it is wired in parallel thus destroying the rectifier. If the output of the rectifier has a zener diode that can reject 12v AC then it is no problem. If it doesn't then I buy a new rectifier. My assumption is that the rectifier is idiot proof since it is on a snowmobile, but not sure that I want to test it with a $40 oops. This solution requires absolutely no re-wiring or adjustments. The other option of course is to use the rectifier output for the taillight and build a voltage divider to make it less power before the brake light is applied. This is way more work than just changing the connection of one wire that happens to already be in the right connector... Is that more clear? Problem is paralleling DC & AC after the rectifier and maybe then damaging it. I see where you are coming from now. Does the LED have a Zener incorporated into it? It would seem to me that it should, if it is intended to function this way It's my understanding that LED's in nature do exactly that. Of course the input will be paralleled before the LED so it still may backfeed into the rectifier. My question is somewhat loaded as I understand the circuit pretty well, but have no idea how to test what I hope is actually there. I hear you. The only way I can think of telling if it is protected is if your DMM has a diode test on it. I know my Fluke 87 does, but it is almost 20 years old. Not sure if the new 87 still incorporates this. Aside from running the vehicle andf testing outputs, I am not sure how to suggest you test it.

And what do you know about our lives that makes you think we are boring and need spicing up? I'd say that based on the fact that you get hammered by yourself and post 4 pages of music videos and talk to yourself on an internet forum, it would appear that your life is the one that needs spicing up. I personally go out with friends almost every night after work for dinner or drinks. My friends who see me every day would tell you I am far from boring. I am actually the life of the party. In my youth, I was a drug dealer, a salesman, and as such I was always the life of the party, and I still am... although I am no longer a drug dealer, and as a recovered addict I don't touch drugs. What are you saying about me personally? I have never made a single statement about the music you post. I have, however, made statements about the sheer number of unanswered drunken solo rambling and videos that you post. I personally like almost every form of music, except rap and country (my collection consists of everything from classical and jazz, to death metal). Those bolded statements are loaded with irony. You know nothing about any of us to make those assumptions. And we know nothing of you to make assumptions either. But I know I personally (and it appears a few others here as well), know bullshit when I see it, and I call it out. I also know that when I wake up in the morning and jump online I get tired of page after page of drunken solo rambling and constant reposts of the same videos we see posted by you when you get drunk, even though your tolerance is beyond human measure. I don't want to have to skip over all that crap in order to look for posts that might have some meaning or interest to me. You may think that we are boring and need to spice up our lives, but it appears that when we get drunk, we are out with friends having a good time... not sitting at home in a dark room drinking a case of beer and posting on a forum by ourselves half the night.

Oh yeah, use a 12 volt DC bulb for this, not a 120V AC bulb, or you will melt your wires
