Haha.. It's only 300 miles away! Only about 80 dollars in gas.. not too bad. lol

Yes, as Drew already stated MOST amped components will be fine. I am not a fan of Rockford speakers, but that is my opinion. Try to demo what you can before you buy. These would also work well for him. http://www.sonicelec...-SPX-17PRO.html Now those I can agree with, I really like mine. Well then I'll be looking more into the SPX pros =D And as for my local audio shop.. They wanted to charge me $1000 just to build an enclosure for one 12".. So I don't really go to them for anything, I'll have to find another audio shop! That seems a little excessive. lol Hey, if you can't find one close enough that is good, by all means, buy online. I thought it was excessive myself, which is why I laughed at him then left.. Not the nicest thing, but if they aren't going to help work out a budget with me, then why should I give them my business.. But I'll definitely look around for another local audio shop and see what comes up!

And either of those would be loud enough to hear over the sub?
-
Because you can spend less and have the same or better quality. If you need them to match, go for it. I'm assuming you will just run a single 6.5 component set up front so you don't even need a 4 channel. Yeah that's true too.. What would you suggest as a better amp?
-
I have Alpine Type R's right now. But I'd like to get something much better. As for my budget, up to $600. Like I said, amp would probably be the RF T600-4. I have the T1500-bdcp for the sub, So why not get the same product line?
-
But what speakers would work well enough that I could hear them over the power of the Xcon?
-
I'm looking for a good component set to pair up with my SSA Xcon 10 for my 350z! The doors have 6.5" speaker sizes, but I've also found custom door panels made for 2 speakers (looks like a 6.5" and a 5") Link - http://www.wickedcas.com/gallery/v/wcasdesign/Cutomdoors/100_0968small.jpg.html I'm planning to get the RF 600.4 amp so I'd be looking for something around the 150rms range -Kyle

I would consider it custom as well, but they have all the right dimentions so they probably premake them?
-
Sweet thanks! Would you recommend putting extra glue or anything? or do you think it would be find the way it is?
-
I just purchased a SSA Xcon 10 and will be putting it in my 350z. My question is.. Would a premade enclosure from "Zenclosures.com" be fine for it? Heres the link to the enclosure http://www.zenclosures.com/Nissan-350Z-Subwoofer-Box-p/z110ar.htm Any input would be greatly appreciated! Kyle

Thanks for the link. As for the amp I'll probably get something more quality mid summer. this way i wont spend to much now to get it all going.
-
Hey Notorious do you mind just sending me the specs he gave you?
-
Yeah, I'll have to look up the best way to make a box. I personally made mine, and I know its not the best, but it's also enclosed. I just used the dimentions I found on JL's site. For the amp, a few of my friends have them and they really aren't bad and they hold up real well. at first I was actually thinking about getting a Stetsom 2K5 but figured for the money i'd be spending on it I could have the sub and an amp. and maybe in the future I'll get something more quality.

$400 sub + a $250 amp is crazy cheap.
