Ive spent a lot of time looking for an amp for the FI BL 15 that's on its way to my house. I don't want to spend much over $300 for an amp so do you guys know any good amps for about $300 or less? I was kinda looking at the Power Acoustik BAMF5500/1D but i really dont know how good of an amp it is.

I will. I have a lot of work to do before i get my system going and i don't even have my sub yet. It's been over a month since i ordered it

Thanks guys, My 15 is a dual 2 cuz i figured it seems harder to find stuff thats half ohm stable. But the amp i ended up getting is the MA Audio 401SX. Its supposed to do about 1800 watts rms at 1 ohm, which is what i will be running. Any thoughts on that amp?

Ok Thanks! u sound like you really know what you're talking about! So if you don't mind me asking, what do u think about lanzar amps. I was looking at the Lanzar OPTI2000D and it appears to be a solid amp but agiain, i don't know anything about the brand.

Have you ever heard of planet audio? Because they have a 5000w amp thats pretty reasonable but i don't know if its any good.

Im thinking about getting 2 btl 15's...what amp would you guys recommend?

i chose hyper pole but i didnt get the cooling because they said it makes the motor a little weaker.

I'm probably going to get a Bl 15 soon so i was reading the "tech" section on the fi website about the BL's. One thing i didn't understand is why they said that they recommend getting the P-chamfer option when they don't even offer it for the sub as far as i know. If you look at the bl's that option does not show up.

Ok thanks! that makes sense...they should update thier site :|

I do have a lot to learn and the only reason i thought about doing this is because i don't plan on buying 2 15's at once. 1 might be loud enough for me.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! @matthubb123, thanks the the setup advice. I have thought about a few of those things. I'm probly going to get one 15 hooked up with a possible 12 along side it, then maybe move up to 2 15's.
