the hfr level control is a remote gain if you have your gains set properly on the amp you can crank it all the way on the remote and it will be fine because it only goes to the level you set it at i also thought mine wasnt working and then i just cranked it and it worked fine

the hifonics amps have a gain knob instead of of a bass boost knob so just crank the gain remote up i forgot to do that to mine and i thought i wired everything wrong but it was just that

why dont you just buy my Fi BTL 15"? its less than a new BL? a box like that is awesome. you can end up calulating your port with your net cubes easily. most guys will run a larger port on the bls typicall 16sq in per foot however you may want to give it some longevity and set it at 13sq in of port tuned to 35hz if i would have known before i would have boughten it from you but i already got my bl

hi i want to buy a fi bl 12 maybe with the cooling and flat wind and i wanted to know if i could run it safely with my hifonics hfi 1500d and also the box is 2.8 cubes its all going in a 04 gto and also my headunit is a pioneer avh 3200 and it has this loudness setting should it be off or what should it be on and any help on setting the gain i think the headunit is 4v

ok so my hifonics amp has a gain knob instead of a bass boost knob and i was wondering how does it work when i turn it to full does it go to the level i have it set at the amp or it overides it and goes to full gain i just want to know that way i can either remove or leave it i dont want to get clipped signals and also would a cheapo dmm do the same job as a more expensive one

pioneers are usaully 4 volt if im correct and the gain knob is supposed to match the headunit volts so at full gain your amp is .2 v which would clip and burn out the sub why dont you wire the sub at half ohm and see what happens

you should check your fuse on the amp maybe you blew it and its not getting enough current

leave loudness off it will just clip and stuff

thats to much power for the ssd daily since sundown amps are under rated it will probably give you 1500 rms and it wont last long

same thing where i live everyone has kickers and they think there the best they also have horn speakers under the cars and it sounds horrible

on some mono block amps it says to wire the sub on the outside positive and negative terminals does fi test the subs before they ship

ok another question i built my box sub and port back but what would you guys think is best for the gto i also did the big three upgrade and im going to set my gain with a multimeter but what testtone should i use and where could i find it

im just so excited i already want to get my bl to tell you the truth i have never heard or seen an fi sub in person nobody in my city has fi so i finally want to be able to see and hear one lol
