Im gonna order a ho alt for my 08 yukon but i wont have the $$ for batts till june..my stock alt craped out so i need the ho on there to run the truck. My question is if its ok to only have one battery? I wont fry it? Im buying a 300a+ alt.

Sobim upgrading the headunit and all 4 speakers on the wifes silverado...my question is if i should buy the foam baffle or not? What is the point of it besides water protection? Also if the head unit says that the impendance range is 4-8ohms but the speakers i bought are 2 ohms will they fry? Or am i ok?

Specs: 4 15's, 15ft^3 tuned to 35hz via a 45"x4.5" port. The overall dimensions are 48" wide x 25" tall x 34" deep. Oh ok! Well thats good to know cuz im even scared to pump gas.im not trying to start a fire..since its recommended to touch ur car before u start pumping gas

So i wonder if this has anything to do with it.. When ever i get somewhere and i turn off my truck if i touch it by accident with my elbow or hand the dam truck shocks me..it only happens when i turn it off and i jump out

So i found the problem...the amp ground was not secured tighly on to the chassi...also the ground terminal was only holding on to half the wire...most of it had broken off

Just got the email from mike singer and he gave me a great price for a new alt...whats the feedback on his alts?

I turn on the truck and the voltage is 14.9...it takes around 3-5 minutes to drop down to 12.9...if i turn on the ac and the dome lights it jumps to 14.9 volts in 2-3 minutes...fuse block melted ...
