one more thing. does in matter where i mount the sub? i mean like does it have to be centered on the front or can i move it left or right? im doing a L-shaped port

ya but that would be a waist of wood and money lol. when i built the 2 boxes for my mtx 9500's, i used mtx's recommendations and they had it tuned WAYYY to high. it was like 45 or something. anyways, i took a piece of mdf, and stuck it in the box and extended the port inside by like 3 or 4 inches to make the tuning lower which worked, but it looked wack as hell when u looked inside the box. but sounded great lol. ill just start out the tuning at 32hz and hopefully it wont be to low or im fucked. but if its still to high, i can fix it lol.

but if i screw down and glue the port, how do adjust it?

Now i know this is a touchy subject but i thought id give it a shot. when the war in my other post (2 solo x's and amp) broke out, the first post from tyrefire got me thinking. why is our govt failing? is it because of the guys in office, or a 18yr old kid who pays taxes just like everyone else barrowing money from there retarded parents? which sub do u guys think is louder? both in there optimal boxes with rms power going to each in the same vehicle. iv been watching video on both and it got me thiinking

well my buddy bought the solo x 10's for 350 plus 75 shipping. he ran into major car troubles and asked if i wanted them for 300 no questions asked lol. im sure most of u know i totaled this chicks car a few days ago and have fines to pay SO i sat down with the parents and they agreed to lend me the cash for them ( thank god) i have to pay back $50 per week plus $10 a week intrest so its not all that bad. so i got the solo x's for $360. iv sold my mtx 1501d ( got it fixed) and am using the money from that for a 220 amp alternator. ill also be getting 2 optima yellow tops in the back.so now the big question... the subs are dual 1 ohm, so would i have to get 2 zx 1500.1's, or is there a way i could just run 1 zx2500?? ( only 2 ohm stble) ill have the power for either. I WANT TO STAY ALL KICKER ON THIS ONE. i know sundown amps are BA but i personally really like the kicker zx series amps. there very strong. i had 1 zx1500 on 2 mtx 9500's and it moved them pretty good. let me know what yall think fellas!!!!

what do u think a good choice amp wise would be? if im doing one amp, id like to keep it right at or below 500.. and i dont mind used Easy decision in my opinion dang. wish i had the cash. thats a good deal. once i get my x's paid off, then ill start saving for a amp.

If you do, even better. because i wanted everyone to know my situation and what some of my options were at this point. not all that other stuff... . . . And I voiced my opinions on your options. Thats a lot of dough for some amps man, if i were you id think about getting one badass amp that will do 1ohm all day for half that price, but same brand is always nice, id like to see some vids once its all hooked up and running, should get pretty damn loud in there ya i see what ur saying. i seen a vid. on youtube of 2 12" solo x's on 1 audiopipe 3000 (389.95) and they were moving pretty good for a cheap amp. i just wanted everyhting kicker on this one. but now im highly considering just doing 1 big amp

Don't beleive that's gonna happen. Check this for options on your wiring. Your gonna need and amp to run 1ohm for both. see thats all i was looking for.. a answer. Thanks for the help
