i had a leak around the sub with the ckacked basket some how so i went to lowes and picked up a roll of gorilla tape and went around each sub. helped a ton lol

well got them in and.... this thing gets LOUD and LOWWWW i cant help but to smile cuz this is the first box i have built that actually sounds damn good. it is currently raining now so im going to have to wait till tomorrow to get a video for you guys :/ but in the mean time, here are the pics.

yeah. my dad insisted i use his window sealent stuff to seal it up instead of liquid nails and his sealent is clear so u cant see it. but with it being clear, it gave me the ability to seal all corners both inside and outside the box its a air tight beast ! lol

figured since i had both 12's out of the old box, id take one and do some free air for you guys. i did not turn up the HU much because i didnt want to hurt the sub. enjoy

That's my next step is to make it a double baffle. And have it carpeted

No every cut was was actually dead on lol. I think I made the mistake of putting in and screwing the Dow rod bracing which pulled that side in a little plus if u look in that pic., I had a clamp on where it was bowing so I think that played a big roll in the whole bowing factor b

Yeah I noticed that too, I think it is just the camera playing tricks. As far as Home Depot's cuts it just depends on who is working at your local store. Some are great and some just don't care. The side in that pics are actually bowing in. That's not the camera playing tricks lol. It was so bad I couldn't get the side panel in. But that was last night. I got up this morning and managed to get the side panel in. Just gotta cut the holes out for the subs and she's ready to go.

well i noticed today that my subs were sounding a little different. so when i pulled over and looked, one sub was out of phase and was flexxing ALOT more than the other. both subs are wired together at .5ohm to my aq2200..... what could be the problem???

the one closest to the carmera had the cracked basket. but it is fully repaired. I agree. I am myself a victim of problems linked to terminal boxes. im not using the terminals. i have the wires going out the port.

im going to pull the subs out tomorrow morning before work and re wire both ubs to make sure there isnt a lose connection somewhere.

Agreed an aq2200 at .5 is going to need a lot of power. i have a 250amp alt., a optima red top, big 3 and all 0 gauge wiring.

welp once again, i found a dumbass on craigslist with some good shit and didnt know what it was worth. 2 orion hcca 10's in a nice ported box for $300 lol. i had just enough cash to buy them but i decided to do the right thing and save it for my girls birthday next week..... so i haded the deal to my buddy. he ended up getting them for $250.... lolzzzz after work tonight (130am) we took both subs out the box expection them to be blown or atleast really dark coils but to my surprise, they look almost new!. i shot a little video for yall. well long story short, i may be getting back the massive 3k today. i did trade my close friend and he isnt liking the way it sounds so i told him i would trade him back if he really wanted. so that being said, i have had a few offers on the massive. either sell for $315 shipped to a guy on c.a.c.o, or i was offered a LNIB crescendo bs2000. so my question is, should i sell the amp outright and pick up this other aq2200 for $275-300, or trade it for this almost brand new Bc2000? which ever amp i go with now, i will be adding a second one and linking them together to the zcons which are d2's so they will run at a 2ohm load. iv been sitting here at the computer now for 2 hours searching about both amps but not many peopl ehave linked the bc2000's yet so i thought id ask you guys

here are the video of frogcase2002 (casey) metering yesterday. me, frogcase2002 and allenH427 all met up and did a bunch of testing. casey here did a 141.7 legal all sealed up with 1 15" ssa zcon in 3cubes tuned somewhere in the high 20's, 1 audiopipe 3k, a 220 powerbastards alt. a optima yellow top and a shuriken bt80 in the back. not to bad for 1 15 and damn it moves sooo much air and sounds sooo good.
