Always good to see a manufacturer working with a customer to fix a problem like this. DC Power is one of the two companies I will consider when I purchase my new alternator this spring, and a big part of it is the customer service!

Just read all 15 pages of this build...and all I can say is, top notch work gentlemen. The attention to detail and the cleanliness and quality of every aspect of this build is amazing. Definitely inspires me to get back to work on my Chevy!

The "rattling" that you are describing sounds like a bad voice coil. Do you have a DMM? I would recommend pulling the subs out of the box and testing the coils to find out what coil configuration you have, because you might have accidentally wired to 8 ohms which wouldnt pull much power from the amp.

Hey guys, just wanted to say hey to everyone. I've been a member of Termpro for years but never posted much, then became a member of SMD back when there was only like 100 of us on there. I've heard of this forum quite a bit, and now that I'm on the computer a lot with the jobs I do, I figured I would sign up for SSA. I figured it was just gonna be like most of the audio forums, but I gotta say, this place is pretty damn nice! Quality content, lots of information, and everyone seem to be pretty cool here.
