Looks like you are tuned around 53 now -- if you went to 16" long you would be around 49 or so. Assuming the whole port is internal anyway.

Make the front port longer if you can -- what does the port look like now ?

Few possibilities : 1) Could have had a tiny crack that you didn't notice initially - if one leg cracks the others are soon to follow. 2) The box may be flexing quite a bit which can eventually break a frame. 3) If the screws come loose then the sub jumping around a bit can crack the frame. Or any combination of those. In any event shoot me an email - [email protected] Do you have all original packing materials ?

Did you get it new or used ? The frames don't just break for no reason -- it may have had a small hairline crack in it initially and just broke with time.

Hey guys, Seems like everything is selling out this month -- that happens when sales climb WAY faster than expected I suppose SA-12 stock is low but I have TWO production runs on order back to back. Derrick usually goes 9 Hz under tuning. My Jeep acts differently depending on box, though... my dual 8" SPL box was tuned above resonant peak to be the loudest. I think that had more to do with port phase than tuning, though, as it was subs forward / port back.

At 2.67 ohms you won't need anything more than the good alt and yellow top.
