Did you go with a lower DCR on these than what you had ?

Because it needs 250 amps of fusing - that is alot of fuses to put in an amp Also it is an SPL competition amp and when you run an amp down really low it tends to blow internal fuses. Yes, fuse it shortly before the amp.

Obviously this does not cover EVERY step of the process But you can get a good idea of what goes into it !

I am not planning an 8" for this line any time soon... but I am planning 10s, 12s, and 15s... also... The rings actually had a function - to lower inductance. It could get too low, though.

Two Stinger SPV-70 Batteries / 40-amp Power Supply / 8 awg wire power and Ground (this amp should have 4 awg) Wired to 1 ohm nominal : 1170 Watts @ 12.5 volts 1.97 ohms after impedance rise Wired to 0.5 ohm nominal : 1490 Watts @ 11.1 volts 0.85 ohms after impedance rise --- Measured with my Extech True RMS power clamp meter several seconds into the tone @ 60 Hz -- this typically reads about ~15-16% less than a "dual peak hold" amp clamp test. We'll do some more testing with a more adequate power wire coming up soon. The test bench 4 awg has the ends tinned so is a bit too big to go into the SAX-1200D terminals -- will need to get it in a vehicle.

On 12v Derrick was able to get over 3300 out of it at 0.25 ohms -- typically on 18v they get alot more touchy at 0.25 -- I have tested the other SAZ line amps as such successfully with a roll. Just haven't had my 18v system back together to test the 2500 yet.

Some may recognize it * 8 runs of + and 8 runs of - wire... getting new custom copper blocks made for the battery (XS Power D3100). Street-B is the goal for this car. Should be fun ! Something I've never tried.

Terminals are here - they are SWEET... made by "toolmaker" on the forums. We are also working on rear distribution bars for the CRX. I can do initial testing without those, though.

That isn't normal... it could be that the value of the knob for 3/4 gain is too high of resistance, though, perhaps a worker grabbed the wrong one. As long as you can adjust it and make it equal though it won't hurt anything.
