Yes, received.

I'll have pricing once the parts get here and I break out import costs and whatnot. Also need to do final checks on the coils to make sure both the D2 and D4 fit -- if not I'll have specialized E8 v.1 coils made and simply use the E8 v.2 parts besides the coil.

Okay guys -- Team is full for 2010. Please do not email me about Team inquiries until 2011 -- this means not until January! Our Team is strong this year and I cannot handle the 100+ Team inquiries a week any more this year. Any Team or "sponsorship" inquiry e-mails will be deleted. Sorry for the inconvenience but my Inbox gets 100+ e-mails reading "sponsorship" every week.

There is a relay inside that de-couples the output.

Right... it is literally the same geometry as an SA motor... same top plate, back plate, magnet, and coil height so linear stroke is identical... just a wider magnet, an added shorting ring, and a 3" coil (of course spider has to be bigger and whatnot to support that).
-
Once I figure out what it is *laughs* Was thinking about finally bringing out an "X" line -- I worked on some prototypes several years back under the X12 name.
-
It performs pretty much right on par with the SA line except with higher power handling... so imagine the SA series with how tough they are but with a 3" coil
-
Yep. I don't have an ETA yet... but I've designed the motor and tested it. It is essentially a 3" coil version of the SA motor with a wider magnet and a shorting ring.
-
Our 1000-watt line will have 18s, though.

The actual DCR per coil is 3.5 ohms -- so each sub is 1.75 divided by six you have 0.29 ohms DCR. A higher reading on a DMM is from the lead resistance of the meter itself. As for the amp going out -- could simply be a fluke event -- Chris can tell you what happened.

If it's been a while (over a week) and you haven't gotten a reply it would be fine to re-send your message... this will get it fresh on my list!

Yes, would be 2 ohm rating x 2
-
Good stuff They are very tough subwoofers, especially for the price / rating!

Runs on 240v AC -- supplying 260 amps continuous current set to 14.8v Hooked up to some Stinger SPV-70s... need to get one more in there. Should do quite well... this replaces our prior setup of three Pyramid 40-amp units (only one recently as we blew up the other two). We went through those on a regular basis... this should be more reliable and much more power than we had before.

On music on a 3500D @ 1 ohm we didn't drop under 14.1 volts -- not bad at all !

I'll be holding onto this one I've had it for almost 10 years... it's a bit of a Frankenstein inside from being repaired / modded of the years -- which is why all the others blew and it didn't *laughs* You have been doing stuff in car audio since you were a teenager? Thats crazy! Yep ! Brandon sold me my first system when I was 17
