A few updates... When I made this thread what I was talking about for the "E Series" turned into the SD-2 series. I then started on a more "true" E series driver with stamped frame and 2" coil -- which I am still working on. --- SA-8 development moved even farther into what is going to start shipping first of August : A full v.2 model is still in the works. All of the SA revisions I spoke about were finished -- pole cap change and venting ring. We then took it another step farther and added a magnet ID shorting ring. --- What I was calling the "X" line will have a different name but is still in the works -- I am still pushing the SA series envelope for the v.2 model and all the changes I am making for the SA will go into this line right off the bad. Some different names entertained : "SAX" Series, "SD-3" Series --- The Monster v.2 concept DID get made : About to test that soon! --- I all but stopped development on Neo based subwoofers for a while to concentrate on our "bread and butter" lines -- eventually I'll revisit this area.

It should be versatile enough for 10s to 15s -- I could do 18s but I'd say those would be more IB friendly than box friendly. If it works out well I'll offer these up for sale.

You will see it appear as ~$600 on WoofersEtc once they update it.

A couple prototype copper sleeves are done -- had them made locally down the street. * Full 1 mm thickness So this is one meaty "SQ" driver Coils are being made as well.

1) The price is not updated yet for the blowout. 2) It costs the same as the SAZ-2500D and is nearly as powerful with Class-A/B circuits and a much larger case. So it is priced fairly.

I would get killed on a 4 wheeler but Brandon may want one.

I am not planning to bring this exact model back -- I may enter back into huge multi-channel amps at a later date but it's not appropriate from a business stand-point at the moment when other products that will sell much better for us AND dealers need to be put to market. In any event... dealers and team members should probably e-mail me with any type of inquiries as I'm not putting this type of business on the forum.

They bought out what we had left -- they will be exclusively handling the close-out.

We've shown a few pictures of the new frame... this is the first peek at the newly tooled and designed spider. I designed this spider based on all the information gathered during testing of the v.1 model -- this is our own spider design / tool where the other two spider versions from the v.1 were simply the best readily available roll profiles. IMO... this roll is FAR superior and should show in testing -- which will likely be coming on Friday. One thing that should be noticed quickly is the massive reduction in mechanical noises from the new spider -- MUCH quieter all the way up until we run out of frame clearance; which I do in the video when you hear the tick sound. These are due in the summer... likely mid June or so. Until then we'll have the v.1 model available unless we sell out before then

The Z v.1 was pretty similar to the Mag v.3 15" -- the v.2 departs a good bit from that.

The v.1 NS has not been sold for some time -- if you buy a new one from a dealer it has to be a v.2

They are not designed to imitate the Illusion drivers -- they simply share the front mount motor idea
